CAP sa SAL, a very high status hotel from the fifties, sixties, now transformed in private apartments, but with the ambiance of the old times, furniture in the very wide aisles, 'catalanes' floors, built in a rocketed hill over the sea, private acces to the resort from the outside and direct access to the sea by a lifter thru the rock and all type of facilities to swim in the sea, like from a boat, & magnificent swimming pool looking over the sea. Barcelona is 150 kms far and there are really beautiful villages, little beaches 'calas' all around where is possible to eat the Mediterranean cuisine.

A lot of 'middle age ' villages with fashion restaurants in each one, hidden beaches, nice cities like Gerona, Torroella de Montgri, Figueras, Dali' village''. Really very long to relate all of it. Necessary to go and find every nice place.

A truly unique place it is almost impossible to describe. If you love tasteful architecture of the 60's, a breathtaking setting, beautifully kept grounds , a fantastic swimming pool and diving off of rcoks into the sea, you probably could not better this location. The surrounding coves which can be reached by a coastal path are equally unique and give you a real sense of Spain at its beautiful best. The whole area is very sophisticated without feeling too exclusive and the town of Begur is a restaurant and atmospheric delight.
The apartment itself is a little basic but with fantastic views.
A car is absoloutely essential.
