Very well decorated and spacious apartment by the sea in Blanes, one of the most historical village of the Costa Brava, with a marvellous harbour and a large sandy beach. 1 minute walk from the spectacular sandy beach of Blanes, the Apartment is located in the residential area called “Los Pinos”. It has a private cafe, a large swimming pool with deep and shallow endings, and an a big garden area with additional private playground. Ideal for Holidays as you can enjoy of great privacy and quietness and at the same time socialize (many cafés,restaurants, shops nearby)

Blanes is located at 50km from Barcelona and at 25 Km from Girona. It is the first village of Costa Brava, in Catalonia, North-East Spain. Traditionally was the most important fishermen village of Costa Brava, so it has a lot of history & character. Sandy beach is the longest one of all Costa Brava Villages.

All the Apartment is decorated in lovely white Magnolia colour and very elegant & modern Mediterranean style; Nice paintings, very lively kitchen etc. There is Air-Conditionning in the main area benefiting all the Appartment as well as the Heating.

The Apartment: The Apartment has its own playground in addition to the garden area. The playground has swings, children slides, basket ball, ping pong etc. It has also its own coffee bar and private parking. The residential area of Los Pinos where the apartment is located is elegant and lively with restaurants, shops, cafes etc. The internal decoration of the appartment is of extreme elegance, with modern and sophisticated furniture. The beds are of the higher quality (latex).

The Village of Blanes: The Village of Blanes is one of the oldest and more typical ones of Costa Brava. Originally a fishermen Village it has the main fishing harbour of Costa Brava. It has also a very long Sandy beach that reaches to the next Village in the South, Montgat, and it is plenty of Pine Trees at the end.

Access: The acces to Blanes is very easy. From Barcelona Airport you can reach Blanes either by Motorway (45 minutes) either by Direct train (1h 30 Minutes). The train costs only 3 Pounds per person and is very convenient. From Girona Airport you can reach Blanes by motorway (30 Minutes). Ideal family accommodation for a relaxing holiday

We stayed in this rental flat in June 2009 as a family with three children (big age difference between them). Because of the children's wishes we had many and sometimes conflicting requirements to our holiday accommodation, and this flat fitted all of us marvellously.

First of all, booking and instructions were made hassle-free by the owner, who looked after every detail - money transfer, descriptions, driving instructions and lists of equipment in the flat. We have not encountered a single organisational difficulty throughout booking process or our stay in the flat.

Facilities, cleaning and equipment of the flat are all up to their description. The garden of the building is better than in the pictures - fresh, well-watered and well-cared for.

We shall recommend this property to friends and relatives, for its own merits, and also for the location and attractions around Blanes. All our children enjoyed what each of them wanted - aquapark and dolphins at Palafolls (close to Blanes, by bus or car), swimming pool that belongs to the property, sports fields in Blanes, very good playground for smaller children near the Blanes yacht haven and a trip to the botanic garden by open bus.

Use Mercadona supermarket (2 mins drive from the flat, by car, Europe street if we remember right) if you drive, or Caprabo supermarket (one min walk from the flat along the same street) if you walk, rather than any of the smaller supermarkets around.

Lovely holiday

Good place for families with young children; apartment is very comfortable, though I wouldn't describe it as luxurious. Great to have swimming pool and playground, as well as a cafe during the summer. Antonio was really kind and helpful. The beach is good, though coarse sand; Santa Cristina has softer sand and is a short drive away. Would be great to have satelite tv and/or a dvd player in the future.

The kitchen is so convenient and beds are so good that life was very easy in the flat. We spent most of our time on the large and always very clean pool while the kids played in the playground of the Apartments. We would like to express our gratitude to the caretaker, Antonio, who was all the time attentive with the kids and helping us in our needs. We arrived to this cosy appartment for a short holiday and we fully enjoyed our experience. This apartment was perfect for a 2 week holiday. Simple, clean, minimalist style in the decoration, but everything is of good quality. The terrace is very convenient and the location, so close to the beach, just perfect. A really nice holiday.
