Lovely new apartment situated in the old town of La Escala, the apartment is very well furnished and maintained, having two twin bedrooms, one bathroom, separate w.c. separate fully equipped kitchen, good sized lounge/dining room, leading onto a balcony where you can enjoy dining al fresco, a nice cool drink and relax after a hot day on the nearby beach, or exploring the lovely old town with its maze of small narrow streets, full of good shops, restaurants and bars

The Spanish seaside town of Escala is situated on the Mediterranean, 50km south of the French-Spanish border and 140 km north of Barcelona. Escala is a cosmopolitan town of 6000 inhabitants, boasting 6 clean and safe beaches offering every water sport. There are many speciality restaurants, dozens of cafes and bars, a yacht marina, fishing harbour and extensive Greco Roman ruins at nearby Empuries. Escala is both a working town and tourist resort, the old town is very traditional, but in the high season there are plenty of activities to suit all ages

I would highly recommend this apartment to anybody considering a holiday in Spain. It is modern, clean, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. Being in the heart of the Old Town of La Escala, it is ideally situated to explore (on foot) the bars, cafes and shops of this quaint town. Although there is on-street parking, the apartment's underground parking is handy. There is a balcony, so you can even sit and have a relaxing drink in the evening. Linda is also very helpful and approachable. The people of L'Escala are very friendly, It has some wonderful views of the Mediterranean and is ideally situated to explore the towns of the Costa Brava, as well as historic centres such as Girona and Banyoles. It is even near enough to France to make a day trip to Perpignan a viable excursion, Overall, I would give the apartment 10/10 David Ball Nov.2006

fantastic location. seconds walk from everywhere. beautiful apartment all modern facilities. only no air conditioner which made sleeping in the night very difficult. however,would definitely stay again. this time would stay off season when it is a little quieter and cooler.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Great Location in Old Town L'Escala

Have just returned from a week in this great apartment. Exceptionally clean and well serviced, right in the middle of the old town of L'Escala. Very handy for local supermarket and restaurants and literally 2 minutes from the town beach.

Would thoroughly recommend.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children
