Beautiful modern apartment on upper 2 floors of a small development surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. It is in a quiet position with two large terraces giving spectacular views of the Bay of Roses and Pyrenees. The apartment is bright and airy and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday including really comfy beds with cool cotton bedding. It overlooks a lovely communal pool and gardens. Situated in the village of Palau Saverdera (local shops and restaurants) 5 minutes by car to nearest beach at Roses, 40 minutes Girona airport.

The apartment is located in a residential area at the foot of the Alberes mountains. The area produces good wine and is famous for its olive oil. Palau also has a variety of restaurants to suit all tastes and a small supermarket. Directly in front of the apartment is a nature reserve, which runs right to the coast. There are many interesting things to see and do in the area: fantastic blue flag beaches and hidden coves, Salvador Dali Museum, Dalis' house at Port Lligat, walking on Cap de Creus and the volcano park at Garrotxa. Barcelona can be reached by train from Figueres or by car in an easy 90 minute drive. The medieval village of Besalu is 30 minutes away.

'A home from home - everything we could possibly need - spacious and comfortable with thoughtful touches such as wine and cold beer in the fridge to welcome us! WD July 2007.

'Stunning apartment, beautiful situation - we needed a month to do everything we wanted to do - we will be back' KM June 2007.

Delightful, spacious apartment

We rented this property for two weeks in August and would recommend it! It was very clean and well equipped and very well situated for exploring this delightful region. There are two swimming pools on site and secure underground parking - digital tv, dvd player and stereo. We also really appreciated the washing machine and dishwasher. A real home from home with delightful, spacious balconies which are very private and have nice views.
