A new modern apartment with terrace, garden and direct access to one of the two swimming pools. Equipped and furnished to a very high standard. Suitable for families or couples. Sea and mountain views. Situated on a small peaceful development surrounded by olive groves and national park. The village of Palau Saverdera(1km) offers a small supermarket, Butchers, Bakers, Pharmacy and several restaurants. There is a superb restaurant within 2 minutes walking distance and large supermarkets just a short drive away.

Located in the foothills of the Pyrenees the apartment is just 5km from the Bay of Roses, with its golden beach, Cafes and many restaurants. For the younger family the area offers numerous safe beaches and coves, a butterfly park, tortoise farm, boat trips, scenic train rides and mini golf. The whole family will enjoy the Aqua Brava water park (3km), Go Karting (3km), Salvador Dali museum (16km), the many historic villages and a trip to Barcelona (90 minutes by car or train from Figueres). For the adults why not sample the local wines and olive oils at the local farmers co-operative. For the more active the area offers great mountain bike tracks, horse riding, tennis, windsurfing, sailing, fishing and golf. Nearby Empuriabrava is the one of the best Parachuting centres in Europe.

We had a fantastic holiday. The apartment was lovely, far superior to any similar holiday accommodation we've stayed in before. Clean, stylish & spacious & equipped with all mod cons. Love the luxury bathroom & the ingenious kitchen storage units! There were lots of personal touches, which added to the 'homely' feel. The children were thrilled with the tv!! We did lots of sightseeing & loved this part of Spain! Highlights (apart from Aqua Brava!) were Cadaques (what a very special place! And stunning scenery climbing up & over the mountains), Figueres & the Dali museum, the ruins at Empuries & superb beach, and the medieval walled village of Santa Marti. We all enjoyed a bumpy ride on the Roses Express! Jill Smith -May 07
