•Lovely flat located in Tossa de Mar. Tossa de Mar is one of the last remaining fishing villages with cobbled streets, a magnificent ancient castle and a beautiful mountainous hinterland with lush green valleys. Tossa de Mar it is also a very peaceful place for people who want to enjoy good weather, the beach, beautiful views from its historic centre and castle and many other fun activities. Excellent supermarkets, restaurants and shops within walking distance, 5 minutes walk to the beach and a 10 minute attractive walk to the historic Tossa de Mar and Castle. Last but not least the village is ideal for families with children or couples who like to enjoy a nice evening at the seafront with a wonderful view over the sea and the medieval castle or inside the most attractive part of this historic town called Vila Vella (old quarter), with its historic defence walls and towers and a delightful labyrinth of medieval alleys peppered with (gift) shops, restaurants, bars and ancient houses.

Additional information about rental rates

  • 'A deposit is required at the date of the booking . Booking is confirmed when the deposit is paid. This deposit is not returnable if you cancel the holiday for whatever reason. With the final payment an additional deposit of 150 euro is payable to cover any damage, breakages, extra cleaning or unusual water and electricity usage. This deposit (if every thing is OK) will be refunded the day you leave the flat.

    'The total balance is payable 4 weeks before the start of the holiday date. If all payments due are not paid in full and on time, we reserve the right to treat your holiday as cancelled by you. If you book within 4 weeks of holiday date full payment up front is required.
  • 'The rent is reserved exclusively for the people named on the confirmation and no other persons whatsoever are permitted to stay there without prior written agreement.

    'The property should be vacated on the morning of the day of departure to enable cleaning and preparation to be completed prior to the arrival of new guests.

Notes: •The apartment is fully equipped with: Washing machine and tumble dryer, microwave, refrigerator, bathroom, TV, big terrace, large windows looking on to the mountains, dining room, full equipped kitchen, a wardrobe, a cabinet with normal kitchen utensils, etc. •The private swimming pool (available from about the end of April to about end of September) is provided with a toddlers pool, showers and a bar with drinks and snacks. This is a pleasant way to relax away from the beach. Clean bed sheets and towels are provided but beach towels are not.

Sport activities:: Three beautiful bays invite sun seekers to enjoy the sandy beaches and the crystal clear water not only for swimming, but also for fishing, diving, sailing and excursions by (glass bottom) boats, discovering many small sheltered coves and islands at 14 km rocky coast line. On the other hand the surroundings of Tossa offer a full range of other sport activities such as mountain biking, biking, hiking, riding and tennis.

Historical and other sights: The beautiful old city of Girona, with its historical centre, shopping centre and good affordable restaurants, is a 30 minute drive, making this an enjoyable day trip. Barcelona, with its many historical and cultural attractions, shops, etc, is a one and a half hour drive away. Centres of art and ceramics - Dali's museum in Figueres and other resorts - are all within easy reach by car.

Other attractions: Lloret caters for all ages. It has a large beach, a pleasant sea front, and all kinds of activities with Waterworld (the largest water park in Europe) Go-Karting, boat trips, Marineworld, and a lively night life. Nearby Blanes is an attractive traditional resort with pleasant promenades, beaches and restaurants.

our holiday in this not so lovely flat

this lovely flat was not so lovely the least you would expect is a kettle and a toaster but this flat had none of these.we stayed in this flat for 4 weeks in may and did not see the lady who was supposed to come in weekly to change the towels and change the beds until the evening before we left.there was a washing machine in the flat so we washed the sheets and towels ourselves.there was a small welcome pack on arrival which was ok but the flat did not appear to have been stayed in for the winter and therefor we had to clean the flat throughout.there is a television in the flat but you can only recieve spanish channels apart from eurosport which should be stated in the description.overall we would not stay in this property again and would not recommend it to anyone.
