Urbanisation with access deprived to a beach and several coves of sand surrounded by pine groves, cliffs and waters blue turquoise, that are counted between most beautiful of all the Costa Brava. The apartment has 1 dining room with chimney, the kitchen totally equipped and 2 baths, 3 bedrooms with 6 single beds Ideal for families. Swimming pool belonging to the residence, parking lot belonging to the apartment. The type of tourism for which Santa Maria de Llorell is ideal is the family tourism. The apartment is built in the mounts and has views to the sea. In the Mediterranean typical landscape you will breath in ease. The urbanization has its own beach. There is also a supermarket, telephone booths, reception and vigilant 24h, parking spaces

Beside the international airport of Barcelona, there is also the airport from Girona, only 35 km from Tossa de Mar. Sta. María de Llorell is located 4 km south of Tossa de Mar, the pearl of the Costa Brava, and 8 km north of the busy Lloret de Mar with a very active nightlife.The apartment is located in one of the nicest parts of the Costa Brava. It’s quiet and there are no trespassing roads. It covers some green valleys and mountain ridges before it ends at a wide, sandy beach, surrounded by cliffs. There is a parking lot on the beach. As it is a private urbanization the beach is very calm and there are no many people on it.

The location, views and beach are superb. You will be charged 10euros for a pass to get into the complex for your stay and the apartment we stayed in appears to be the downstairs version of the one in the pictures. The smell on entry suggested the apartment had not been aired or occupied for a very long time and it took a couple of days to get used the mustiness. Our younger children were disturbed by the smell and the loud creaks of the metal springs in the beds at night. The kitchen and equipment was ok for very basic cooking, there was no kettle, a scary rusty tin opener and one small saucepan or some extra large ones! The 2 washing machines are under the swimming pool, hope you like spiders! One machine was just a tin box with a light on it, the other one needed you to know to turn the water valve on first and then wouldn't stop rinsing! But once we got over these little exasperations, we had a good time and ate out a lot more than we had planned!! The beach cafe does FAB bacon rolls. The landlord was helpful with towels and sheets but would do well to ensure that the place is aired and soft furnishing are laundered to make guests feel welcome and expected at the start of the summer season.
Would we rush back - sorry no! We would highly recommend the area Santa Maria de Llorell but not this property!

Beautiful Location

Spacious apartment situated on a quiet complex between Llorret and Tossa de Mar, lovely beach about 10 minutes walk down a steep hill, but well worth it. Very quiet and peaceful complex, furnishings a bit basic but position certainly makes up for this.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Just returned after a second holiday at Santa Maria de Llorell and once again have enjoyed the tranquility of this very private and secure village with its own superb beach with small resteraunt. Sunbeds and canopies for rent too.
The accomodation is always clean and tidy and the owners are very obliging with sheets and towels if you are travelling light. The furnishings are a little bit dated and the beds not divan but after a day in Tossa de Mar and a busy time down on the beach you won`t have trouble sleeping. Private shared pool and usually very quiet. Small shop and well stocked. If your on a budget and can`t quite afford the private detached villa with pool the I would recommend this property for value. Its fairly essential to have a car if staying here as its quite hilly and several kilometers from Llorett and Tossa unless your ultra energetic. Thankfully no clubs or discos within earshot although you can cross the beach to a lively bar for a drink and dance but its a fair walk. Would recomment flying in the Girona airport for the quickest way to Santa Maria and the owners are always happy to greet you at whatever time you arrive, even very late arrivals
