The property is a charming renovated stone cottage with a large private garden and pool and beautiful views. It is located in a small, unspoilt village, in the largely undiscovered Pla d'Estany area, only twenty minutes from the medieval city of Girona and twenty minutes from wonderful, quiet beaches. The area is fantastic for walking and cycling. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, living room, two bedrooms (one en-suite) and two bathrooms, both new. It has recently been redecorated. It easily sleeps four and can accommodate an extra child comfortably. The garden is shady and contains a covered sitting area and a built-in barbecue. The village has its own restaurant. Local shops are close by and there are supermarkets in Girona, Banyoles and Figueres. Barcelona and Perpignan are about an hour's drive away. The house is close to the coast and a whole range of sights and activities, but is well away from tourist crowds. Budget airlines fly to Girona, Barcelona and Perpignan.

Can Colemar is located in Terradellas a beautiful and quiet village which is close to Girona, Banyoles and Figueres. It is about twenty minutes from quiet sandy beaches and about thirty minutes from the Garroxta National Park. It is also close to the A7 and it is possible to reach Perpignan in 40 minutes and Barcelona in just over an hour. It is also about an hour from the high Pyrenees. Girona, Barcelona and Perpignan airports all have regular flights with budget Airlines.

The swimming pool is open from 30 May. There are a number of golf courses near to the house

Day trips: There are a large number of areas that can be visited easily. France is only half an hour away. The high pyranees can be reached within an hour. The cities of Perpignan, Barcelona and Girona are all close. The roman city of Tarragona is close enough to visit for a day. The house is close to the Greek/Roman ruins of Empuries. The Dali museum is less than half an hour away in Figures. In winter is possible to ski in the Pyrenees from the house.

Family holiday: This is a great spot for a family holiday. There is so much to do in the immediate area. There are shops and bars within 2 km at Sant Esteve and Bascara and a full range of shops in Banyoles, Figueres and Girona. All within 20-30 minutes. The surrounding area has a number of excellent restaurant within 10 to 15 minutes and one very close to the house.

We've just got back from a lovely week in Terradelles. The house is very well equipped with a good selection of books ,dvds, Cd's and local info and we found it clean ,tidy ,well maintained and comfortable.
It's situated in a very nice part of Spain with beaches or mountains within a short drive away and the fantastic city of Barcelona an hour down the motorway.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends .

It's not often that when you arrive in a place booked on the internet that you find your expectations exceeded but that was definitely the case with this lovely house in Terredellas.
The house is full of character and the surrounding area is a very beautiful and unspoilt part of Spain. It has the best of both worlds; the nearest beach is about 15/20 minutes away yet the cost of eating in local restaurants is about half the price of restaurants on the coast.
The owners are very friendly and provide a lot of helpful and useful information.
Also, unlike a lot of rental properties that we have experienced in Spain and France this felt like we were staying in a real family home, mainly because the owners leave a huge amount of their own personal belongings (books, DVDs etc) lying around. It just lends a nice atmosphere.
If time and circumstances permit we will definitely be back.
