This is our family home in Spain, chosen for its beautiful and private location – set well back from the road so you can sunbathe around the pool in privacy. All aspects of the villa offer stunning views, whether down the valley to the sea at Palamos or across to wooded slopes. We have equipped all areas, including the kitchen, to a very high standard. The four bedrooms are on the first floor. One has a queen size bed, one a standard double and the remaining two are twin-bedded. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and balcony. All linen is provided and changed on a weekly basis. To the front is a large terrace with dining and seating areas and secure gates, making this a very child safe area. The pool area is equipped with sun loungers and more seating, whilst above the pool is a further, more secluded, dining area. A Weber kettle barbecue is available. This villa offers everything whether you are looking for a family holiday or somewhere to relax away from it all.

The spacious and tastefully furnished villa is located just outside of the charming medieval village of Calonge, where each property is set in its own private grounds on the southern flank of a wooded valley. Close by are glorious sandy beaches and beautiful rocky coves, ideal for watersports, including windsurfing and scuba diving. For those who prefer their sporting activity to be on land, there are numerous golf courses. The seaside towns of Palamos and Platja d'Aro are just a short drive away, but for those willing to travel more widely this area of Catalunya has much more to offer: Dali's museum and homes, historic Girona (a largely undiscovered gem of a city), cosmopolitan Barcelona, beautiful coastal or mountain walks, archaeological sites, numerous medieval villages, vineyards and so much more. The area also has many superb restaurants and whilst you may not manage a booking at 'El Bulli' the tasting menu at the elegant 'La Malcontenta' is something very special!

Notes: The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances,crockery, glasses etc.The owners have ensured that everything is of a high quality and that there are plenty of place settings so there is no need to be washing up all of the time! The TV has an English Satellite Dish and a DVD player. There is an audio system with a selection of audio tapes and CDs. Bed linen and towels are provided. The living room has an open fireplace with a grate for log fires. Outside the terrace is suitable for dining and is equipped with a Weber kettle barbecue plus 2 large outdoor tables and chairs. There are toys for use in the private pool along with sunloungers for relaxing by the pool. There is also a selection of toys suitable for young children and games for both children and the family to play. There is a wide variety of books - both fictin and non-fiction for adults and children. LOCAL ACTIVITIES. SWIMMING,TENNIS, WALKING, SAILING, CYCLING, FISHING, HORSE RIDING, GOLF, AND WINDSURFING.
