Villa La Colmena is a superb, charming villa situated in the residential area 'Mas Pere' of Calonge just 5 minutes drive into the village and 8 minutes drive from San Antonia Beach or Palamos Beach. It has a fantastic garden 600 m2 - privacy - and a large pool (10x5m). The villa is very spacious with on the ground floor lounge and dining room, open kitchen,2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms + separate WC, large terrace + BBQ and a 3rd tower-bedroom with bathroom and its own large terrace with sea view till Palamos. The separated studio has its own entrance and a living room with a double bed + 1 bedroom with 4 seperated beds + bathroom, kitchen and terrace. The villa has also a large garage and a car-port.

Airports + by car:: The nearest airport is Gerona 35 kilometres and the international airports of Barcelona and Perpignan are 100 kms. Calais-Calonge = 1.311 kms [12 hours drive]. Ryanair operate a twice-daily service from London Stansted to Gerona for 9.99 GBP + from all other European countries!

Villa:: The villa is ideal for a big family or two families or a group of friends.

Golf: The costa brava was voted the best emerging golf destination in the world in the year 2000 , what more can one say about this beautiful area of Catalonia. 9 Golf Clubs within 50 kms!!!

this was a very special place. felt like a home not another holiday let. we all felt very comfortable and although there was steps our 2 year old grandson coped very well. we could not get the children out of the pool. the adults loved the pool too.
beautiful gardens. we picked a lemon for our drinks.
would recommend this villa to everyone.

2 brilliant weeks at the Colmena

We have spent a very nice two weeks holiday in the Colmena house. It is a very friendly house where we can be quite a few with enough space for each.

This villa is not one you expect to be rented. You feel that the landlords have bought it to enjoy it and share it with other. Everything is well taken care of in a generous way : for instance, many kitchens appliances & tools are available. The mattresses is very comfortable too.

We really appreciated the kindness of the local contact person.

The only thing we did miss was an access to the French channels on TV.

We had a wonderful stay in your lovely villa last month. There was plenty of room for the whole family (10 pax) and all rooms are beautiful decorated and have a comfortable bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped. There are more than enough sun-beds (in full sun or with lovely shadow seats), the swimming-pool is large and clean and the privat garden is full of beautiful flowers. The village is only at a short drive and you can buy all you need in the local supermarket. Thanks to the owners and we hope to come again in the future.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Super Pool, bestens für 2 Familien geeignet.
Sehr schöne große Terasse .
Ein Auto ist zwingend erforderlich.
Haus war sauber, sehr nette Kontaktperson.
