This superb villa is the ideal summer holiday rental and is situated within the select area of La Pineda, just outside the historic town of Calonge. The villa, which borders a fragrant pine forest, was built in 2003 & was fully refurnished in Jan 2007 to a very high standard. Being on a flat plot, it is also ideal for those with children or walking difficulties. The lounge boasts two luxury 3 seater leather sofa's, a 37'' Plasma TV, a satellite system - UK channels, a DVD player, a TEAC hi-fi system, IPOD docking station & a XBOX 360. There is also a large Oak dining table with 6 leather bound chairs. The large landscaped garden is maintained all year by a specialist company & has an abundance of mature plants & shrubs including a lemon and orange tree. It has a large patio & pool & plenty of room for the 6 quality sunlounger’s & teak patio table & chairs. In the evening, the patio & terrace is well lit which creates a wonderful romantic ambiance for al fresco dining.

The villa is situated in a quite location, although just 1km to the nearest beach at Sant Antoni de Calonge. Also within a few km's are the wonderful resorts of Palamos and Platja D'Aro, to name but two. Palamos is still an active local fishing port, where fresh fish is sold daily from the traditional boats. It also benefits from a marina, where large cruisers can regularly be seen harboured. The cosmopolitan resort of Platja D'aro, is developed around a fantastic golden sandy beach - one of Costa Brava's finest. The promenade is lined with bars and restaurants where you can relax with a drink while watching the children play safely on the beach. One of the most exiting and vibrant cities in the world, Barcelona, is also just over 1 hour away by train.

Costa Brava Golfing - : Golf in the Costa Brava is second to none and it has received the distinction of being the world's best emerging golf destination. There are some wonderful golf courses within a short distance of the villa.

Water Sports - : There is a multitude of water sports and leisure activities available in the local area. These include sailing, snorkelling, wind surfing, surfing, jet skiing, water skiing, scuba diving, kayaking and pedalo's. There are also theme parks close by, one (Aquadiver) being just 5 minutes from the villa.

Winter Skiing - : The slopes of the Pyrenees are the perfect place to enjoy ski mountaineering and cross-country. There is no better way of getting real solitude than ski-traversing in the Pyrenees in winter. Snowboarding is also a big thing in the Pyrenees, and boarders are well catered for in virtually every resort. There are several ski resorts, catering for both alpine and cross-country skiing, within a reasonable distance of the villa.

An excellent modern villa that is furnished to a very high standard. It has everything you need, it is well equiped through out, including TV, DVD, XBox, I Pod docking etc. There is an outside BBQ, and a pool in a quiet location surrounded by trees.

It is also well located, for exploring the area. Local management team are on hand and could not be more helpfull.

We would return again.

This fabulous villa is situated in a very quiet location, but still close to amenities and only a short drive away from some superb beaches and local supermarkets. It is exceptionally well fitted out with English TV, DVD, CD and IPod players and games for the children to play. The kitchen was exceptionally equipped and was better than facilities at home. The fantastic pool was an added luxury that was well used by us all. The villa is well maintained and the management team, situated close by, could not have been more welcoming and helpful during our stay. We would thoroughly recommend this villa for anybody wanting a relaxing holiday but requiring easy access to all the facilities. We will certainly be booking for the same time next year!

The villa was fantastic. It was set in a lovely quiet location, but in good reach of a Supermarket and local town, which was also fantastic. My little boy loved it, lovely pool, kids games and inflatables available, english tele. Everything we could possibly need. Would definitly stay again. The villa also has good access for wheelchair use.
