The exclusive development is close to the medieval town of Calonge and overlooks the bay of Palamos. One hour's drive from Barcelona and the South of France. Close to historic towns of Gerona and Figueres. Convenient for beaches, countryside and mountains. Six top quality golf courses within half an hour's drive. Close to pretty coastal villages such as Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Aguablava. Well positioned for travel by budget airlines to Gerona, Barcelona and Perpignan. Three miles from beautiful sandy beaches at Sant Antoni and Playa d'Aro. Well situated for shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. Three double bedrooms plus garden room with double sofa bed. Excellent safe uncrowded beaches, wide sandy beaches and small coves. Five kilometres drive to Waterpark. Selection of restaurants including menu del dias and tapas bars. Funfair at Playa d'Aro. Nightclubs available at Playa d'Aro and Palamos. Mild climate, temperatures do not normally rise above 30 degs centigrade. Very few rainy days, humidity is low.

Notes: A docking station is available for Ipod or Iphone. A ´Poolside Dining´´ service has been arranged for our clients. This has been done following feedback from clients on ways to improve the holiday experience. A menu will be available at the villa and if you wish to have hot food delivered to you at a specific time to suit you - simply ring the telephone number and arrange your menus with Lesley. She will deliver hot food to you at a pre-arranged time. This may be particularly useful for clients with young children who can enjoy all the benefits of a restaurant but provide their own wine etc. There is a separate utility room/second kitchen which is adjacent to bedrooms and also handy for swimming pool. This room contains the washing machine, second fridge/freezer, ironing board and iron and has a separate hob and kettle. Outside there are two clothes lines.

We (four adults and two kids) spend a wonderful week in October at the villa. Everything worked the way promised, was clean and nice. We were very satisfied with the equipment and the house. Even the weather was warm and sunny. Thanks Joan and Mike!

We stayed at the villa for 8 weeks this summer. We liked it so much we have booked again for 5 weeks next summer!
The villa itself is very spacious, well equipped and clean. The garden is quite big, private and not overlooked. The pool is a nice size and well looked after.
The Cabanyes development is on a hillside with good views of the coast. It is near some fantastic beaches, where you can snorkel, dive, kayak, or just soak up the rays. It is only a short drive from some beautiful towns / villages on the coast, or in land. There is so much to do and see, but if you just want to chill by the pool at the villa, you will not be disappointed.

A pleasant stay!

I lived in this villa for a week, with family and relatives. We were eight persons, but there was plenty of space for everyone, and the location was very well shielded from the rest of the neighborhood (which by the way was really peacefull). The villa was well equipped, and contained everything we needed and lots of other conveniences. The standards were great. The outside area and the pool was lovely and thoroughly upkept. Our contacts were also really friendly and helpfull. The villa is not located by the sea, however there are great, uncrowded beaches just some minutes away, if you drive a car. Everyone had a great stay, and if you are not dependent on a house next to the sea (which would probably be far more expensive), we absolutely recomend this villa.

I have recently returned from my fifth visit and already I am looking forward to my sixth, I really can't enthuse highly enough about this wonderful property.
The villa, which is superbly presented throughout with all needs more than catered for, is situated in beautifully sublime surroundings so serene even a monk would enjoy the tranquillity.
Whatever the occasion, be it simply rest and relaxation or exploring the local areas, which offer aplenty, you will not be disappointed.......................now where are those holiday application forms?

A wonderful break

I spent 5 nights at this amazing villa and enjoyed every second of it. It was clean, spacious and well-equipped and contrary to one of the earlier reviews I didn't notice any damp at all.

The pool was beautiful and the villa ideally located for the beach and trips to the local markets. It was blissfully quiet and I came away truly rested.

Again, referring back to the negative review, I used the oven twice to cook (I'm ashamed to admit) pizza and had no problems at all.

Overall highly, highly recommended.
