Villa Vera: Is an as new, light and spacious, stunning open plan luxury villa not to be missed. Ideal family accommodation, in 3,300 m2 of private landscaped gardens, in a very quiet location, south facing overlooking natural protected woodland to mountains in the distance. The large 10m x 5m private pool viewed by all 3 of its verandas and a separate BBQ sitting area. 20 mins drive from Gerona airport or 90 mins from Barcelona airport.10 mins from nearest of many beaches, 1.5 miles to nearest 18 hole golf course and 8 golf courses within 16 miles, shops, banks, delightful restaurants offering exquisite local cuisine, supermarkets and shopping, and an Aqua park. Inside there is every modern conveniences. The king size bedrooms are en-suite with verandas. All bedrooms and living areas have silent ceiling fans. Sant Feliu for families is just 10 mins drive away or something more upbeat in Platja D’Aro where the Barcelona come for weekend breaks for cosmopolitan designer shopping.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Change over day is SATURDAY in summer, but any day considered in winter by arrangement.

    There is also a £300 refundable bond to pay with each booking. Late night welcome pack for 30 Euros, payable to the cleaner. Pool heating if required £150 per week. To book payment must be made in Full + £300 refundable bond + extras such as pool heating. Welcome packs must be paid to cleaner while on your holiday but booked prior. When you contact us we will send you a booking form and info, there is also a file that gives you info to validate who I am.
    Completed booking forms will hold the villa for 5 days awaiting your cheque. Bookings cancelled 3 months before the start date will be refunded in full.
    Bookings cancelled under 3 months will be only refunded if re-booked, I will make every effort to resell you're booking, if I have to put your booking on special offer you will receive that amount.
  • Christmas is not at winter rates, it's £1500.
  • Barcelona is the nearest large airport book early and get cheap flights on Ryanair, Jet2 and Easyjet.

    Gerona is the nearest airport, you may be able to get flights from your nearest airport.

Notes: There are 2 large garden tables which seat 8, and a small table which seats 2 on the tower veranda. By wheelchair or for invalid/elderly it is possible to access all areas with help but for the tower bedroom upstairs. If you are arriving late at night a welcome pack can be arranged. The cleaner and property manager live 500 yards away so problems, if any, can be dealt with quickly. There is a DVD/video, micro HIFI system, portable CD player, a selection of CD's videos, DVDs, toys and books. Private parking with garage/store area. Hairdryers supplied. Wrap around terrace to see beautiful sun sets. The living area is on one level apart from the en-suite master bedroom in the round tower. Go-carting, horse riding, beautiful walks etc.

Perfect....once again

We stayed here in 2007 and came back again in 2009 because, quite frankly, it's the best villa and location we have found for a family with children. The pool and garden area are first class and you are only minutes from the beach by car.
The accommodation is superbly clean and first rate.
Overall a wondeful holiday (the fantastic weather in June also helped).

Modern house and a wonderful garden

This is a perfect location for 1-2 families with children. The garden is wonderful - big, green with some trees (shadow on hot days). There are barely any neighbours, so they can be as noisy as the parents can stand.

It takes only 10-15 minutes to go to the seaside (car is essential) but if you prefer you can spend the whole day at the pool.

There is also plenty of sightseeng within 1 hour driving.

We had a very good time there!

Spacious clean accommodation. Everything you could wish for and more provided. Quiet area but local town, shops, eateries and beach easily accessible by car. Wished we'd had pool heating in Aug & flies a problem by the poolside as well as steep incline which one less able guest found difficulty with. Overall a good holiday retreat for families,couples or groups.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers

Normaly in August the pool can get upto 30 deg with out heating, we are considering solar heating or a cheaper form of heating.

Wonderful stay

Villa exceeded expectations and was very comfortable. We made great use of the pool and having it heated made it most enjoyable. The location was ideal, very private without being isolated and very convenient for the town. We had several long and lazy lunches on the verandah which were most enjoyable. Would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Vera and have already done so since our return.

As Villa Vera’s first guests, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful villa.
It was light and spacious, the location was quiet and private (but the villa was very secure).

You usually expect photos to give an exaggerated view of things. In this case the reality was even better than the photos.
Is there anything you think is missing or would make your stay better at the villa?
No. you’ve really thought of everything. Even toys/videos for the kids, local maps etc. very impressed.You should buy up a few villas around there and go into business renting them out !!
