There is a dining area inside and another outside with a barbeque. Its a children's paradise with plenty of room to play, a shallow stream nearby and they are free to roam the hillside . The shady secure front terrace and shallow shelf in the pool are ideal for toddlers and the good size pool has plenty of room for older children and 8 sunbeds. It is very private having no near neighbours.A few minutes walk down the lane and across the ford is the restaurant which also has a very large swimming pool , tennis courts for hire, a football pitch and shetland ponies. Nearby facilities

Calonge is 4 miles away and is a pretty little village with at least one of everything. There are two supermarkets here one of which stocks a good supply of foreign food. There is also a very helpful Tourist Office which has an English speaking assistant. Only 1mile from here is Sant Antoni beach and beautiful bay sweeping round to Palamos Port. Within a short drive there is everything from tiny fishing villages to the international resort of Playa D’Oro and its varied nightlife. There are many golf course in the area. There is a bar and restaurant only 5 min walk away with a pool, tennis courts , small playground and fountains.

Children

Children are very welcome at Casa Tranquila and they can safely explore the surrounding woods. We have several grandchildren and do our best to give everyone an enjoyable and safe holiday. A car is essential

The nearest airport is Gerona only 30 mins drive away and Ryanair has various flights to here. Barcelona which is served by nearly all the airports is between 80 to 90 minutes drive away on very good roads. Perpignan is 90 mins drive to the north. Again if you need any help just contact us.

The villa is within a short drive of 8 golf courses and we can arrange minibus or taxis if required. We have a local english enthusiast who can help you and, if you wish, accompany you and arrange a complete package to your requirements.
