The Olles Lagoon is a delightful place to walk or cycle, especially as it is home to a large range of aquatic bird species. It is so rich in bird life that the lagoon has been incorporated into the Ebro Delta National Park. There are a range of marked trails of varying lengths to choose from.

L’Ampolla has a surprising number of festivals, competitions and displays, especially around the marina. One of the closest towns to a holiday rental in L’Ampolla is the delightful town of L’Ametlla de Mar. Whilst L’Ametlla de Mar is famous for its world class beaches, it has managed to avoid swarms of tourists during the summer and has therefore retained much of its Catalonian atmosphere and culture. It is one of the finest scuba diving locations on the Costa Dorada, and there is a strong sailing community living here.
