Newly furnished flat with large, split-level terraces and breathtaking sea views. There are spectacular 180 degree views over the town and coast of Almunecar. The large 80 sq m Spanish tiled terraces make it perfect for entertaining & relaxing outdoors, & it has sun beds, a hammock, a BBQ & patio furniture. The apartment is within a landscaped hillside complex, with gardens and waterfalls. There are 2 large swimming pools, 1 within 30 metres. The main pool is an infinity pool overlooking the sea. The main bedroom has a king size bed & double wardrobes. Bedroom 2 has twin beds which can be put together & a wardrobe. There are overhead fans in both bedrooms & in the lounge. The large airy lounge benefits from patio doors on 3 sides which lead out onto the terraces & have sea views. The historic town of Granada and its Sierra Nevada ski slopes are 55 minutes drive away. Malaga is also 50 minutes drive along the E-15, N-340 coastal motorway.

The flat overlooks the picturesque old town of Almunecar, with spectacular views down to the sea and along the Costa Tropical. This area is renowned for its tropical micro climate, and there are a multitude of water sports, horse riding or mountain walking and biking activities to choose from here. There are also great coastal drives and roads to Granada for day trips. Granada and the Sierra Nevada ski resort are approximately an hour away. As an added bonus, please note that many bars offer free tapas dishes when ordering alcoholic drinks.

Our stay in the appartment was excellent. The view from the terrace over the coastline of Almunecar is breath taking, but also the interior of the house and kitchen are very neat and tidy. You need to rent a car to come all the way uphill and explore the beautiful surrounding area of Granada, Malaga and Almeria.

The infinity pool is a great place to take a fresh dive in the cold water as temperatures may rise in southern spain! Of course, there are also several beaches downtown.

I can fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxed holiday.

We had a great time in Almunecar. We received a very friendly welcome from the owners' mother who lives in the village. The appartment was clean and very well-equipped (especially if you are travelling with a small child, like we did) Because the house is situated on top of a (pretty steep) hill a car is definately recommended. The patio/terrace is very spacious and the view is incredible.
The beach is only a 5 minute drive away. There is lots to see in the area. We visited Granada and the Alhambra. The breathtaking Sierra Nevada is also only a short drive away. I would definately recommend this appartment to other travellers.

The best part about this appartment are the unparalled views from the spacious Balcony, truly fantastic vistas of the coast. There are 2 Balconies one in the shade and the top sun deck with more than enough room for a family of four and more if required.
The property itself is very clean and well maintained and situated in a quite residential area. The customer service with regard to linen etc.. was excellent
Guests have the use of two pools onsite within easy walking distance one of which has breathtaking views over the coast line
The main town of Almuncar is a short drive away and has many bars and restaurants to choose from. In addition there are a number of fantastic restaurants along the coast road which offer great views while dining al fresco
All in all I would not hesitate to recommend this appartment, offers great value for money and an excellent base to explore this beautiful part of the spanish coastline
