This is fully self contained one bedroom apartment. Good size lounge with additional put u up settee. Bedroom has two single divan beds. Fully fitted kitchen with full facilities and equipment. The large shower room has toilet, wash basin and shower. Costs include constant supply of hot water, electricity and all taxes. The size of the apartment makes it ideal for a couple although it could sleep more. Although the view from the apartment is only over a small garden. There are panoramic views over the sea and the mountains from twenty yards away. Ideal for walking and visiting many historic Moorish and Roman sites. One hour from winter ski slopes.

The property overlooks the sandy bay and village of La Herradura. One hours drive from Malaga or Granada airports and just over one hours drive from the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada. Fifteen minutes drive from Nerja and many famous white villages. Five minutes drive from the sea and local marina. The local towns are not over commercialised so ideal for a tranquil holiday Many small family run beach front restaurants within five minutes drive with several large supermarkets a few miles away in Almunecar. The area is ideal for walking, horse riding, mountain biking or just relaxing on the beach or by the pool. There is a diving school in the village and organised Landrover Safaris through the hills. The area is steeped in history as our local town was originaly a Roman Port and trading centrebut later one of the centres of Moorish influance.

Notes: This is a small, self contained, ground floor apartment. Fifty yard from a large swimming pool. The pool is surrounded by a grass sunbathing area that overlooks the bay and local village. A car is highly recommended as the village and sea are about twenty minutes walk. The walk is all downhill on tarmac roads but it is a hard walk back. All the equipment and furniture is brand new for the 2007 season. Just bring your swimming costume and toothbrush and relax.

This is a delightful location from which to explore a lovely area of southern Spain.

The accommodation was spotless and every need was catered for. The hosts are charming and most helpful.

Although there is no garden with the apartment one only has to cross the road to the pool area where there are sunbeds. The view from the terrace over La Herradura and the surrounding countryside is lovely.
