Motril holiday apartment in Playa Poniente, Motril Beach

The apartment is situated on Playa Poninente, to the west of the port of Motril. It is situated just across the street from the the 'paseo' which extends from the port, along playa ponente and playa granada. To the west of this about 1 kilometer away is los Moriscos golf course. The 9 hole course has a large driving range and a restaurant and outdoor bar area which overlooks the sea, thus promoting outdoor activity with restful scenary. The apartment is also situated a short drive from the old Moorish town of Motril,which combines the delights of ancient Spain with modern shopping, dining and Tapas bars. The village of Salobrena, in the other direction and nearby, is well worth a visit to see the ancient castle, restaurants and beach snack bars. The city of Granada and the Alhambra palace are 45 mins. by car, and en route you can detour into the famous Alpuharra villages. The Sierra Nevadas for walking and skiing are about 1 1/2hrs away through scenic mountain countryside.
