This delightful apartment opened in Summer 2003, faces towards the whitewashed village of Salobrena with its Moorish castle. Behind can be seen the snow topped Sierra Nevada Mountains and across the road is Motril beach with its 'chiringuitos' beachside restaurants. A tree-lined promenade stretches along the edge of the beach from Los Mariscos golf club - approx 1.5 kms; to the port of Motril. The region of the Costa Tropical, with the highest level of sunshine in Spain is a delightful place to stay for beach, water sports, walking, dining or just relaxing. It is a truly authentic and unspoilt Spanish region.

The apartment is situated on Playa Poninente, to the west of the port of Motril. It is situated just across the street from the the 'paseo' which extends from the port, along playa ponente and playa granada. To the west of this about 1 kilometer away is los Moriscos golf course. The 9 hole course has a large driving range and a restaurant and outdoor bar area which overlooks the sea, thus promoting outdoor activity with restful scenary. Tha apartment is also situated a short drive from the old Moorish town of Motril,which combines the delights of ancient Spain with modern shopping, dining and Tapas bars. The village of Salobrena, in the other direction and nearby, is well worth a visit to see the ancient castle, restaurants and beach snack bars. The city of Granada and the Alhambra palace are 45 mins. by car, and en route you can detour into the famous Alpuharra villages. The Sierra Nevadas for walking and skiing are about 1 1/2hrs away through scenic mountain countryside.

  • The main bathroom has a jacuzzi bath and marble floor tilling. The shower room is situated in the hall area which facilitates washing prior to entering the main part of the apartment. Both rooms have constant hot water heated by gas and both are protected by shower doors rather shower curtains. Hand and large towels are provided. We have tried to make washing and showering a relaxing and pleasurable experience.

I spent a week this summer in this appartment.
It's very comfortable, there's everything ans it's very agradable. Juste in front of the sea, one street to cross with a nice "paseo" where you can walk by the fresh of the night !
Un piso super comfortable, grande, con aire y con solo la calle que cruzar para estar en la playa ! Con todo lo que necesitas para unas vacaciones como en casa.
