Great walks at the back of the property through gently rambling citrus and olive trees. 30 minutes to Costa Tropical with great beaches. 10 minutes to the famous Alpujarras (where the famous book 'Driving over lemons' comes from) Inexpensive restaurants in nearby villages. Casa Margarita is the perfect setting for a tranquil holiday. Nestled in the beautiful Lecrin valley with stunning rooftop views. Yet only 20 minutes from the historical city of Granada. 30 minutes from the Costa Tropical and just less than an hour from the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada. There are several villages within easy driving distance with bars and restaurants. Only 20 minutes also from The Alpujjaras (Famous for the book Driving over Lemons) with great walks for the novice and experienced walker alike. There are also great walks from the back of the property through gently rambling citrus and olive groves. There is also an old Arab Fort within walking distance. For the more adventurous you can drive to Seville, Malaga or Cordoba and back within a day to sample a historical Spain that you will never forget.

Two bathrooms include an en-suite off the master bedroom (With bath, shower, WC) The guest bathroom has shower and WC.

Skiing in the Sierra Nevada

Situated just 30-40 minutes from the house is the magnificent ski resort of Sol y Nieve located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. It is the most southerly ski resort in Europe and has numerous runs of varying difficulties to satisfy all skiing desires. Natural snow is supplemented by snow cannons on some runs. Being so far south, many skiers are pleasantly surprised to find the air temperature is usually warmer than other resorts. There is a surprisingly active nightlife in the Sierra Nevada resort. Spaniards have a reputation for being 'night owls' and this can be witnessed even in a skiing resort. Most of the visitors come from Madrid and the cities of Andalucia, weekends and banks holidays are particularly busy. The season is December to April. The resort hosted the 1996 world ski championships.
