Photos and Description of this Saleres holiday house 2 bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, sleeps up to 6 (bed settee in lounge)

The house itself is a newly built but traditional village house, Finished to a very high standard, It covers two floors with the bedrooms downstairs opening out on to our pretty courtyard with private heated pool and the lounge and Kitchen upstairs with lovely views of the mountains and valley. Inside we have two lovely bedrooms, (one single with the option of a twin and one double) with French doors opening onto a courtyard with bathroom in-between, a spacious lounge/diner with leather sofa, satellite TV, DVD and an open fire. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave, fridge and cooker. Upstairs we have a tower room with cosy chair and music system, outside is a washing machine and roof terrace with sun loungers and table and chairs. Outside we have a pretty courtyard with private heated pool and loungers.

The Lecrin Valley (the vale of Happiness) is situated midway between Granada and the Costa tropical, in the foothills of the spectacular Sierra Neveda mountains It is one of the loveliest parts of Spain, in a wonderful setting. It is unexpectedly tranquil with unspoilt views and many sleepy rural villages where you are more likely to bump into a mule rather than a car. Taking about twenty minutes to drive from one side to the other it is easy to explore and visit the many bars and restaurants on route. The village of Saleres is picturesque, (one of the prettiest in the Lecrin valley) nestling at the foot of a river valley there is a lovely walk along the river, it is surrounded by orange and lemon orchards giving it a lush green appearance all year round. The centre has an attractive church. The property is in easy reach of great beaches,(not to crowded) the beautiful Alpujarras, skiing in the sierra Nevada and the historical city of Granada. Surrounding Area: We are 30 minutes drive from Granada with the historic Alhambra Palace, a beautiful and interesting city to explore. Skiing The nearest ski resort is about an hour from the property in the sierra Nevada. The snowcapped mountains of the sierra Nevada are viewed from the house. Skiing is available from mid December to the end of May and all ski equipment can be rented on site. We are surrounded by scenic places to walk including the Alpujarras (foothills to the Sierra Nevada). We have walking maps available in the house. Coast We are about 30 minutes drive from the costa Tropical. There are many beaches in this area including resort towns and secluded bays. The costa tropical area is quieter than many of Spain's resorts, but has beautiful areas to sight see and sunbathe.
