2 bedrooms, 2 baths, Sleeps 6. 3 balconies good sized

There are absolutely wonderful and intimate views of the Mediterranean from this beautiful house. Set on two floors, the panorama is enjoyed from all principle rooms and the 3 balconies. Set in wonderful, subtropical gardens, La Aldea shares use of the pool, found on the complex close to the house. Refurbished recently to a high standard, with new kitchen, furniture etc. Whilst many parts of the Spanish coast are being overdeveloped, this area has no high rise developments, only low level villas and intimate community sites.

Although heated, the lounge houses a natural fireplace for the winter months. In addition to the 2 bedrooms, a sofabed allows 6 people to stay. Close to Beaches, yacht marina, shops, restaurants and cafes, La Aldea is an upmarket complex. We looked long and hard all along the southern coast of Spain to find the right villa to buy. We chose La Herradura and this house and think you'll love it to.

Nearest Airport : MALAGA (costa del sol) at 50 Miles
Nearest Beach : beach at 1 Kilometres

Situated on top of the suprisingly green and lushous Punta De Mona headland, between La Herradura and Marina Del Este. Both are walkable though its a long climb back up hill and to far with shopping/grocery bags etc. There are beaches either side. The house is very quiet and in a truly unspoilt area. There are enough restaurants and bars in La Herradura for a different restaurant every night on a 2 week holiday, and even more in Almunecar and at the upmarket Marina. 55 minutes from Malaga airport, 50 minutes from Granada airport and 1hr 30 or so from Almeria airport, though Almeria has slower connecting roads. PERFECTLY situated. You wont be dissapointed.

Great for children: La Aldea is set on the Punta de Mona headland. either side of this small, quiet promontory, can be found the unspoilt towns of la herradura and almenucar. both have nice clean beaches, cafes, bars, restaurants etc. the area is used widely by Spanish holiday makers and is largely unspoilt by the hoards of package holiday makers who visit the areas further west. ideal for families, couples, etc, who want to see the vibrant, 'real 'Spain.

Fantastic villa with beautiful views out over the med,set in a tropical landscaped area, with swimming pool on doorstep.
Walk down into the town not for the fainthearted, very hiily and a car was essentail but the peace and tranquility was everything we were looking for. Nice towns close by and day trip to Granada only about an hour on great roads.
Villa itself was lovely, clean and with lots of indoorspace as well as a big balcony. Internet access would have been a bonus but not a deal breaker found free access in the town. Highly recommended.

Fantastic house with amazing views

What a wonderful place. Really comfortable and cozy, beautifully furnished and amazing views. The swimming pool within eyesight of the balcony so really safe for the children. La Herradura a lovely village with very friendly locals. Check out Jardin de Joaquin on the beach for prawn pil pil!
We will definately be back. Thanks for a great holiday.

Wonderful holiday

Just a few lines to say how we enjoyed staying at this lovely holiday villa. The view from the bacony overlooking the sea, with Almunicar in the distance. The inviting swimming Pool just below in well kept and flower laden lawns was just the icing on cake.
We all loved the area and the short walk down to the beach and restaurants in La Herradura were wonderful.
The house was a delight to stay in, with all of your needs catered for.
We will certainly go back again next year, and we would like to thank the owners for letting us share their wonderful holiday home in a delightfull part of Spain.

Stayed here many times and each time has been a dream. Big balcony close enough to the sea that you can see the dolphins. Nice decor and effects and english tv too!!
