The master bedroom has a queen size bed, ceiling fan, electric heater and a large en-suite bathroom with bath with shower over, washbasin, toilet and bidet. The second bedroom has a double bed, desk fan and electric heater and the third bedroom has twin beds with electric heater and a private balcony. The family bathroom has bath with shower over, washbasin, toilet and bidet. The large separate kitchen has granite worktops, a built in oven/microwave combi, electronic hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, iron and ironing board. From the kitchen there are patio doors leading to the terrace. The large living room has contemporary-style furnishings including a sofa and bench seating, an ceiling fan, satellite television system for BBC and ITV channels, a CD/DVD player, dining table and chairs.
The living room also has wide glass doors that provide access to the balcony and the stunning views over La Herradura bay. On this floor is a separate toilet. The ground floor has the integral garage with washing line. Guests are asked not to smoke inside the house.
A short walk from Los Altos 33 (100m) is a large communal pool and toddler pool set on a grassed terrace with stunning views to the sea and mountains. Here also are two Paddle Tennis courts and showers.
The large bay of La Herradura provides all kinds of water sports and is just 5 minutes drive from Los Altos. Unspoilt beaches usually with a beach bar are within a few kilometres. The Marina is just a 10 minute drive as also is the town and beach at Almuneca. Golf courses are a 30 minute drive at Salobrena, and Velez Malaga. The Sierra Nevada is a 90 minute drive and the ski season runs from December to April and caters for all abilities.
There are a range of activities nearby, scuba diving (several schools in the village and the nearby marina), windsurfing, sailing, walking in the National Park, horse riding, hang gliding, fishing, and climbing. There are numerous art galleries locally as well as Flamenco dancing and nightclubs. Malaga Airport is approximately 1 hr's drive. A car is essential for this type of holiday. The spectacular Alhambra Palace, Granada, is an hours drive away and takes you through the beautiful Alpujarras mountains. The caves at Nerja are approximately 20 mins. drive, or visit one of the many pretty whitewashed mountain villages. La Herradura has an abundance of excellent restaurants and authentic Spanish tapas bars as well as a daily market selling local produce, banks, and all general stores.
