This new, south facing, villa offers everything you could need to enjoy a fun & relaxing holiday in Salobrena, the gem of the Costa Tropical. Tennis, beach & golf are very close by. There is a private heated pool that can be enclosed for child safety, & a 6 seater hot tub on the sunny roof top terrace. The pool has a pretty cascade. The covered porch near the pool offers respite from the sun & is perfect for al fresco dining as it is close to the kitchen & the gas BBQ. Panoramic views to the sea, the mountains and the Moorish castle of Salobrena, that is illuminated at night, can be enjoyed throughout the villa. The exterior of the villa has a wonderful rustic feel to it with creative uses of terracotta and ceramic tile, bricks & stone. Inside the villa is light & airy and has all the modern conveniences such as broadband internet access and central hot & cold air conditioning. Your comfort is guaranteed and we are sure you are going to love the pool & hot tub. All of our guests do!

Our holiday home is located in Salobrena, the gem of the still largely undiscovered & unspoilt Costa Tropical. This is what the Costa del Sol & Malaga were like before they were overdeveloped. With easy access to the historic city of Granada and the magnificent Alhambra Palace, the Alpujarras with its small villages that cling to the hill side where it seems as if time has stopped, and the Sierra Nevada mountains, where you can ski in the winter and enjoy beautiful flower & fauna in the spring & summer, this is a wonderful place to experience the authentic Spain. Other places of interest include Almunecar with its markets and Roman ruins, La Herradura with its pretty harbour – Marina del Este, and Nerja with its amazing underground caves. For those who like sports, within a 3 minute walk of the villa there is a recreational area with pool, children´s pool, playground, tennis, table tennis, football pitch & basketball hoop. Our guests have complimentary use of these facilities.

My husband and I personally designed and built this villa and decorated and equipped it with great care and attention to detail. We live nearby and are happy to help you. We have prepared a detailed information guide with lots of useful information on everything on great restaurants, ideas for day trip s, walks, places to go to see flamenco, our favourite day spas etc. We look forward to welcoming you to our villa, Salobrena and the Costa Tropical. Six tired, stressed people arrived at this lovely villa, six rejuvenated and happy people departed. All the ingredients for a relaxing and memorable week are here, with many thanks to Marla and Juan who have thought of just about everything for comfort. The weather has been good to us and any cloud was a welcome respite. Lots of swimming and hot tubing and enjoying the panoramic views. Our last night we ate at Mirador del Cerro Gordo - the views are fabulous and the food delicious - well recommended. We shall be back. Other Activities Snow skiing is less than 1 hour 15 minutes away! It´s possible to ski in the morning & relax poolside in the afternoon.

Fantastic villa with amazing views. Love the size and shape of the pool. You can really swim and play in it. Hot tub a real treat and the roof garden a wonderful sun trap. Had some very enjoyable meals in the shaded dining area and sat till late in the evenings eating, drinking and chilling out.
There was everything here you could possibly want, cool interior decor, lovely beds and rooms. A memorable week. Wish it could have been longer. Maybe next time.
