A lovely 1st floor self-catering apartment situated in a spacious holiday complex, with air-conditioning/heating + extra mobile heaters, a double and one twin bedroom, each with built-in wardrobes, one with safe,and can comfortably sleep 4 people. A large SE facing terrace with table and chairs, leads from the lounge and double bedroom. The complex has 2 large communal pools with sun loungers, children’s pools,all set in grassy areas with small palms & plants. The extensive sandy Puerto Rey / Vera Playa beach is a few minutes easy walk from the apartment.Opposite is a Supermarket connected to a small shopping centre, complete with cafe/ bar, Internet cafe and hair salon. Other Supermarkets within 1km. Golf range & family sports centre with tennis, padel tennis, crazy golf, putting, cafe / bar & restaurant opposite. 6 golf courses within a 12 km radius and a superb water park with slides & water chutes, open from May to September visible 1Km from the complex towards Villaricos.

El Faro is situated minutes from the wide sandy Puerto Rey / Vera Playa beach situated between the old fishing port and marina of Garrucha with its own Blue Flag beach and excellent fish restaurants, and the old fishing village of Villaricos. Nearby is the lovely Moorish hill top town of Mojacar, with pretty cobbled lanes,shops, tapas bars and restaurants. This is a must to visit, together with Mojacar Playa with its 9km of sandy beaches, bars, restaurants, Commercial centre and various summer beach activities. Inland is the historic town of Vera with its old buildings, extensive Saturday market, bullring, cafes and restaurants. With 6 Golf Courses within easy driving distance,including a new course near Mojacar Playa, this is an excellent base for golf parties, particularly during the Autumn & Winter months. Opposite El Faro is a new sports facility opened in 2006, with Golf Driving range, tennis,paddle-tennis, mini and crazy golf, gymnasium, restaurant, and cafe/ snack bar.

  • Ideally, arrival and departure days are Saturdays, but as many airfares are cheaper mid-week, we are happy to accept flexible date bookings, dependent upon availability. Payments in Pounds Sterling or Euros welcome. 30% deposit payable on booking, with balance due 8 weeks before departure. £100 refundable breakage/damage deposit payable as a cheque with balance, but this will be held without banking and returned or destroyed at end of holiday after keys are returned and property checked for damage.
  • We recommend that you take out appropriate holiday insurance cover for the duration of your holiday and a car is recommended, although there are local bus services and taxis.

Notes: 1st floor spotless,bright and spacious apartment has a double and a twin bedroom, both with large fitted wardrobes including hangers, with a safe and hair drier in the master bedroom wardrobe. Apartment has one full bathroom with basin, bath/shower, bidet and WC, and second with WC and basin + mirror and stored ironing-board. Fully equipped separate kitchen. Large South East facing terrace leading off from lounge and master bedroom, complete with table, 6 chairs, and ashtray (in sideboard), and has open views both across a communal garden to the front with plants, young trees and a children's area with swings and rockers, and one of the two swimming pool to the right. A sunroof is also situated above 2nd floor. The apartment also has a small North West facing terrace with accessed from kitchen. Child high-chairs and cots are available for small extra weekly charge.

Welcome gift.: To welcome you to El Faro we will provide a free bottle of wine (red or white), and a 5L bottle of water. Your choice of wine to be stated on booking form. For guests arriving late in the day when shops may be closed, we can provide a `CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST PACK` consisting of Croissants & breakfast cakes, cereal, yoghurts, jam, butter, fruit juice, coffee, tea, milk & water for 4 persons for 10 Euros extra.

a lovely apartment. home from home. very well equipped and very clean. the complex is very nice with a supermarket close , an internet cafe and a couple of shops. also a take away and a golf club, all close to hand and within a 5 min walk. for restaurants its a 10 min walk. . . beach close, just a 5 to 10 min walk also. very good bus service. a peaceful resort with great weather. . overall, a lovely holiday. thankyou for the use of your home. . . .
