Overlooking the hillside with views of the golf course & sea this beautiful apartment is located in a peaceful residential area. It has 2 bedrooms,1 dbl with ensuite facilities and 1 twin bedded room. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a second bathroom & a bright spacious lounge/dining room. The large private balcony has access from the lounge & twin bedroom and is complete with awning & gas barbeque. it's an ideal spot to enjoy a little alfresco dining or to just chill out. A very romantic place to sit and share a glass of Rioja, especially at night under the stars.T he beach is a few minutes walk away where there are a selection of restaurants, bars and cafes. A little further afield (about a 20min stroll) is 'The Parque Comercial' shopping centre where you can shop till you drop or simply have a drink & relax. If you want to experience 'authentic' Spain, away from the hustle & bustle, the high rise & loud discos, then this is the place for you. Mojacar the 'corner of enchantment'.

Mojacar, in the province of Almeria, is a beautiful rural retreat as yet unspoiled by tourism. Nestling in the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera mountain range it has everything you could wish for a quiet relaxing and idyllic holiday. Spectacular views, clean uncrowded beaches, picturesque whitewashed villages, local markets, some excellent restaurants, golf courses and much more. On your doorstep is The Cabo de Gata National Park, its rugged breathtaking scenery, makes it well worth a visit. Water fun for all the family is just a 15 min drive away at Vera aqua park a little way along the coast. Inland is the Tabernas Desert which is the setting for many of the famous spaghetti westerns, and a good day out for the children is Mini Hollywood.Here you will find an authentic 'western' town with the appropriate re-enactments of bank raids and shootouts etc, but also there is a surprisingly good wildlife park. Granada and the Sierra Nevada are but a 2 - 3 hour drive away.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rental rates are for a maximum of 6 people including children. For periods of less than five days a £50 additional charge will be applied to cover cleaning and laundry costs. Initial basics such as tea coffee milk sugar etc are supplied. A 20% non refundable deposit is required with balance payable 8 weeks prior to travel. Full payment must be made immediately if booking is within 8 weeks of travel. An additional £100 deposit will also be required which, providing there is no damage missing items or the need for extra cleaning, will be refunded within 10 days or your return. Breakages should be notified immediately and suitable replacements made. No all male or all female groups.

  • The master bedroom has a fitted wardrobe containing an abundance of coat hangers so you don't need to bring your own, a dressing table with four full size drawers, and a large wall mirror. There are two bedside cabinets with drawers and bedside lamps. Finished in a lovely cream coloured grained wood, similar to limed oak, the freestanding furniture matches the decorative headboard giving a very attractive and co-ordinated overall appearance to the room. In winter there are bedside rugs to keep your feet warm! The twin bedded room, which has direct access to the large balcony, boasts a double wardrobe with a handy drawer at the bottom, a chest of drawers located between the beds, a wall mirror and two bedside lamps. There is a ceiling fan and an air conditioning unit in each bedroom.

Airport accessibility: There are three airports all within easy reach of Mojacar. Almeria is the closest, just a 45 mins drive away,Murcia, using the new toll road, around 1 and a half hours and Alicante which is around 2 hrs.

Golf: There are now several golf courses in and around Mojacar giving you plenty of scope for a round or two during your stay. Firstly, situated on the hillside overlooking Mojacar bay and virtually on the doorstep, is the 18 hole par 72 Marina Golf.Here you will find a restaurant, bar, shop, buggy rental and professional instruction. Next, between Vera and Los Gallardos, is the 18 hole par 71 Valle del Este course. Designed by José Canales, it combines holes that represent a real challenge to the player with others that are maybe a little less taxing.The amenities include restaurant, bar, shop, buggy hire, swimming pool and professional instruction. Then, located between Villaricos and Cuaves de Almanzora is the 18 hole par 72 Desert Springs designed by Peter McEvoy. It is the first desert course in Europe, and has been built to the full USGA specifications and quality standards of the now famous desert courses of Arizona and California. As you would expect, full facilities are provided.

My wife and I have enjoyed a quiet relaxing holiday every year for the last six years. Yet within five to ten minutes walk there is a fine sandy beach ,bars restaurants and shops.The communal gardens and pool area are very well kept.Every year we find the apartment's decorative order, furnishings and fittings still at the same high standard and have no hesitation in recommending it for a superb holiday.

Great apartment, very comfortable, home from home! Bit of a walk from all amenities, as stayed out of season buses stopped at 11:30pm and if you missed last taxi then you had a long walk home! In high season buses run until 2:00am so not a problem! Would definitely go back!
