Recreational:: Golf: The area boasts four challenging courses. The par 72 Marina de la Torre (adjacent to the apartment), Europe's first desert course the par 72 Desert Springs, within 20 minutes, Valle del Este, par 71 and Cortijo Grande a nine hole course set below mountains. We have a set of male golf clubs available for hire. Fishing: Why not join the locals sea-fishing from the beach opposite the apartment. There is a fishing rod in the apartment. Walking: The Cabo de Gata national park is within a 15 minutes drive. Water sports: Including Scuba Diving, available on Mojacar Beach - five minutes drive. Cycling: We have two Bikes available for hire. Games: Upwords, Yahtzee, Scrabble, Who Want's To Be A Millionnaire, Pop Quiz CDs, Jigsaws, etc. various books. Picnic set and cool box. Wine: A wine rack with a selection of wines for your convenience - if used, please replace with similar type of wine. A CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST PACK can be arranged at a cost of 16 euros. (£12)

Out and about.: There is an AQUA PARK at Vera easily accessed by local bus or car approx 15 minutes away. GO-KARTING in Garrucha. GRANADA with it's impressive Alhambra Palace is approx 3 hours away by car. MINI HOLLYWOOD/TEXAS HOLLYWOOD where many ‘spaghetti westerns’ and Lawrence of Arabia were filmed, is approx one hour by car. ALMERIA CITY has two hypermarkets, 45 minutes by car. KINDLY NOTE: The Communal pool is open from 1000 hrs in the morning until 2300 hrs at night, but closes each day for 2 hours between 1500-1700 hrs to observe siesta time. The pool is also closed during the winter months, generally from the end of October until Easter time, but this is subject to change locally.

Airports: Almeria Airport is approx 45 minutes away by car. Murcia is approx one & half hours away by car. Alicante is 2 hours away by car. Car hire is relatively inexpensive and can easily be booked via the Internet prior to your departure, in readiness for collection immediately upon your arrival at your chosen airport.
