This apartment caters comfortably for 6 people in 3 separate double bedrooms with full size beds. Notes to the rental rates

• Discounts for bookings of over 4 weeks, please enquire.
  Booking/damage deposit of £100 required (Non refundable in the event of cancellation). Refunded in full within 10 days of holiday completion subject to no damage occurring to apartment or its contents. Full rental to be paid 8 weeks prior to holiday commencing. A complimentary welcome pack is in the apartment on your arrival to cover your initial basic needs, tea/coffee/sugar/water/bread etc.

  We require a deposit eurocheque of €150 with the booking and full rental in Euros 8 weeks prior to holiday commencing

  Access to the apartment is after 2pm on day of arrival and departure is no later than 11am, this allows cleaners to change linen and clean the apartment.
  
• Daily flights to Almeria ( Approx 45 minutes from apartment) from Gatwick, Birmingham, Stansted, Exeter, Manchester, Glasgow and Belfast with Airtours, Easyjet, Thompsons, Flybe, Ryanair etc.
  Daily flights from Stansted, Gatwick, Luton, Manchester, Southampton to either Alicante and Murcia (Approx 2 hours from apartment) via Easyjet, Monarch, Flybe, Air2000 and other airlines including BA & Iberia.
  Don't forget to take out travel insurance to cover medical and theft.

Mojacar: A family holiday

Mojacar is an ideal safe family resort. You won't find Benidorm-style rave-ups here, but there is plenty to do both night and day with entertainment after the sun goes down, Mojacar is the ideal destination. You won't find the beach and the sea hidden from view, neither will you see platoons of high-rise apartment blocks or hotels. Residential buildings are limited to two floors and hotels to four. Mojácar has therefore been able to retain its essential charm. It remains part of what is called 'The real Spain.' The liveliest nightlife is down at the seafront promenade where you'll find live music and entertainment in the bars and hotels until the small hours during the summer months. Whilst a car is not necessary, Costa Almeria has plenty of entertainment for both children and adults alike, you would need a car to get to many of these places. For those not that adventurous the public transport is good, every 15 minutes along the beach road which takes you to local villages.

Activities in Mojacar

There are many outside activities in and around Mojacar, if you just want to chill out there is the pool or the beach, if you are feeling more adventurous you can rent horses from the beach and go for a hack. Rent Quad bikes and go off-road along the dried out river beds, Golf is never far away with easy to competition courses and two new ones less than 5 minutes away that will be open by next summer. If you fancy sea fishing contact Mike at the Beachcomber. You can also rent mountain bikes from a number of places on the playa, a short drive to Vera you will find a water-park, excellent fun for both kids and adults alike. A little farther a field at Tabernas there is a wild west centre and the film sets from many famous film epics. If you are in to walking bring your hiking boots there are fabulous rugged walks within minutes from the apartment. Go Karting is a short drive away with a good track and great karts. This is just some of the activities to amuse you whilst you are here.

Mojacar: Steeped in history

Mojácar is about as far south as you can go in mainland Spain. It's easy to reach and well worth the effort. Having been occupied by the Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans and finally the Moors, Mojacar has created a culture of its own, and once visited, will capture your heart. Its Moorish history continues to influence its architecture. You can feel its past as you walk the labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets full of Moorish style dwellings. The shops and international restaurants have fitted in and have added to, rather than detracted from, the town's magical quality. Its captivating charm and tranquil atmosphere are intoxicating. Situated in the southeast corner of Andalucia in the Province of Almeria, Mojácar sits on a hilltop, facing the shimmering Mediterranean and overlooking miles of sandy uncluttered Blue Flag beaches, with the majestic Cabrera Mountains as a backdrop. Mojácar is the jewel in a cluster of villages.

Golf Information:

DESERT SPRINGS 'The Indiana' is an 18 hole, par 72 course of 6,173 meters designed by Peter McEvoy, the successful Walker Cup captain. Situated about 15/20 minutes from Mojacar it is the first desert course to be built in Europe rivalling any of the now famous desert courses in Arizona or in California. With lush fairways, water features and rugged desert terrain Desert Springs is destined to become o­ne of the finest golf resorts in the world. Here golfers are compelled to keep the ball o­n the fairways but can take relief from staked cacti. It is highly recommended. MARINA GOLF An 18 hole, par 72 golf course of 5,464 meters o­n Mojacar Playa. The course combines flat fairways adjacent to the sea, 3 lakes which come into play and undulating terrain o­n the mountainside with the most spectacular 3rd hole; a testing par 5 where the tee is positioned 65 meters above & 483 metres from the green. A course where you feel obliged to play again if o­nly to correct your original club selection. VALLE DEL ESTE Is an 18 hole, par 71 golf course of 5,696 meters about 10/15 minutes from Mojacar opened July 2002 that utilises the desert landscape to its maximum beauty. Integrating these natural settings it makes the course both attractive and challenging to play. Correct club selection is essential if you are to make par. With superb elevated tees, true & fast greens plus a number of water features including the magnificent water course running along side the 18th hole.
