Mojácar is situated in Almeria in the south east of Spain and enjoys an excellent locationen: protected from behind by the Cabrera mountain range and overlooking the warm Mediterranean Sea. This southerly location, the proximity to the African continent and the high surrounding ranges all contribute to keeping any cloudy fronts away, while the warm Mediterranean assures Mojácar of an exceptional subtropical climate with over 300 days of sunshine a year. The romantic old town of Mojacar, perched high on a hill with narrow kasbah streets and courtyards overlooks Mojacar playa and the blue Mediterranean. Beautiful, golden beaches, glorious coastlines and whitewashed mountain villages bring you the taste of real Spain. For golf lovers there are three golf course nearby with full hire facilities. Cortijo Grande, a challenging nine hole course surrounded by the Sierra Cabrera mountains, Golf Torre Marina, an 18 hole par 72 course with sea views and Desert Springs Golf par 72 which is the only desert course in Europe.
