Mojacar is a beautiful beach resort located in the picturesque and Moorish province of Almeria (Andalusia) in the southeast of Spain. Mojacar Playa enjoys around 300 days of sunshine a year and offers a wide range of activities including many golf courses with scenic views of the sea and mountains. GOLF INFORMATION: 1. DESERT SPRINGS 'The Indiana' is an 18 hole, par 72 course of 6,173 meters designed by Peter McEvoy, the successful Walker Cup captain. Situated about 15/20 minutes from Mojacar Playa. 2. MARINA GOLF An 18 hole, par 72 golf course of 5,464 meters o¬n Mojacar Playa. The course combines flat fairways adjacent to the sea, 3 lakes which come into play and undulating terrain o¬n the mountainside with the most spectacular 3rd hole. 3. VALLE DEL ESTE Is an 18 hole, par 71 golf course of 5,696 meters about 10/15 minutes from Mojacar opened July 2002 that utilises the desert landscape to its maximum beauty.
