Mojacar is handy for visiting other places, the fishing village of Garrucha is a few minutes drive and also has a great golf facility. Almeria is about 50 min drive and Granada is 2 hours away which makes it great for visiting or in winter a days skiing. The markets of Carbonaras,Vera and Garrucha are all a few minutes drive away. Desert Springs which is a popular golf resort with the celebs is only 30 mins away and is the only desert golf course in Europe. Mojacar Pueblo itself is a fantastic place-there are bars and restaurants within walking distance. There is an excellent bus service to the beach area. There is also an exclusive jazz club now open in the village. Mini Hollywood is again a short drive and is a great place to visit to see where films such as Indiana Jones, pirates of the Caribbean and the good bad and ugly were filmed there is also a huge zoo and swimming facilities which makes a top day out.

MOJACAR

Mojacar is a small resort with one of Spain's sunniest climates. The scenery is stunning with plenty of beaches (naturalist included) and rugged mountains. The village has lots of character, there are numerous restaurants and bars in the village and many more on the beach which is a 5 minute bus ride away. There is plenty to do,be it summer or winter with golf courses, bowling greens,petanque courts,fishing,horseriding to name just a few of the facilities available close by.There are markets every day in the area ,2 large supermarkets within 5 minutes drive or 2 'corner shop' type in the village itself. The appt is approx one minutes walk from the bus stop so a car is not necessary although most of our clients do hire one.
