Lovely independent apartment located in the oldest part of historic Mojácar village with great views of the Mediterranean and over the village. The house has sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and three bedrooms (one double, one single or twin, and one single) so can sleep a maximum of five, but is most comfortable for two, three or four. Traditionally and comfortably furnished, with total area of about 800sq ft, it has its own private entrance from the street and there is a balcony and several terraces facing the sea, one with built-in BBQ. And when the sun is out (and the Almería area averages about 320 sunny days in the year !), the flat enjoys sun from sunrise right through till the early evening.

Mojácar is a beautiful Moorish hill town on the edge of the Sierra Cabrera, just two km from its lovely beaches. There are many echoes of its Arabic past yet nowadays Mojácar is also a lively modern town offering the visitor a wide variety of facilities and activities as well as its many excellent restaurants and nightspots. A car is not essential as there is an excellent local bus service from the village to the beaches, but will enable you to explore the nearby Cabo de Gata Natural Park which is one of the best preserved areas in the East Coast of Spain, as well as the many interesting historic towns inland which are within easy reach. Mojácar is just 50 minutes drive from Almería Airport, about an hour and a half on the new motorway from Murcia Airport, and about two hours from Alicante Airport.

Notes: Sorry, but this is a non-smokers apartment (smokers have to go outside onto one of the terraces !). The apartment is in an old part of the village, with access down narrow cobbled streets, which are pretty and have atmosphere, but it does mean that wheel chair access is difficult and you can't normally get a car right up to the house.
