It has brand new quality furniture throughout (Jan 2006), is situated on a quiet upmarket development and includes: one double bedroom with sea views, one twin bedroom; bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and bidet; fitted kitchen with dishwasher, f/freezer, utility with washing machine & space for golf clubs; lounge / diner with satellite TV, DVD, CD system, dining table, sofa and sofa bed; terrace and solarium areas with furniture - perfect for enjoying Spanish sunshine; a fully integrated air conditioning / heating and dehumidifying system; four communal swimming pools; short distance from the beach and located within an 18-hole / Par 72 golf course. For our guest’s convenience, a welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, sugar, wine & water is supplied. The property is managed locally by an English speaking management company.

Apartment is on a hillside in Mojacar Playa overlooking Marina de la Torre Golf Course with stunning views of the sea & blue flag beach. Mojacar is an up-market resort, perfect for families & couples both young and not so young. There are no high rise hotels, or obvious nightclubs. It has a quiet safe promenade that runs for miles with a separate cycle lane, the beach is over 7km long and even in high season there is plenty of space. There are restaurants catering for all tastes, English, Chinese, Indian, Italian and of course Spanish. Mojacar Pueblo set on a hilltop above the beach resort, is typically Moorish with whitewashed walls and winding streets. The surrounding area includes the National Park at Cabo de Gata, a Water park at Vera, Mini-Hollywood and the old Fishing Port of Garrucha. There are two large weekly markets, Wednesday at Mojacar Village and Fridays at Garrucha. If you want peace and relaxation with just the right amount of things to do, then this holiday is for you.

The weekly rates include water, electricity, linen and towels (excluding beach towels). Kindly note there will be a Supplement of £20 to cover additional laundry and cleaning costs for 5th person. A Booking Form & Booking Conditions are sent to you by email or post when you make an enquiry. When you make a booking a non refundable deposit of 25% (by cheque) is required. The rental balance remaining becomes payable eight weeks before your arrival date. Payment in Sterling is preferred. DAMAGES: a returnable deposit of £150 must be paid by the hirer on a separate cheque at the time of paying the final balance. Payment for any damage, unnecessary breakages, missing inventory items i.e. loss of key or excessive laundry or cleaning will be deducted from the damages deposit. The full deposit will be returned within two weeks of departure if there are no missing items, no unnecessary damage or breakages and no extra laundry or cleaning incurred.

  • Low cost airlines now flying to Almeria include Ryanair, EasyJet, My travellite, Monarch, also the major Charters, Britannia, and BA. Alicante is also worth looking at although it is a little further to travel from it is all motorway and very fast. Bookings require a 25% non refundable deposit with the balance payable eight weeks before departure. All bed linen and bathroom towels and tea towels are provided, however please bring your own beach towels.
  • A charge of 15 euros is payable upon arrival at the apartment by the guests to the key holder for arrivals before 9am or after 7pm. If arrival is after 9am and before 7pm there is no charge.

Notes: The Apartment was completed two years ago and is o­n the top (2nd) floor. There is direct access to it from the quiet pedestrian road behind so you do not need to access via the steps unless you really want to! Apartment can accommodate up to 4 guests, two in each of the two bedrooms. It has a washing machine, full size oven and hob, microwave, full size fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, iron, ironing board and clothes airier on roof solarium etc. English satellite TV is installed and a DVD player & CD/radio system are available in lounge. The apartment has a 20 square metre terrace, with dining furniture, which can be accessed through patio doors in the lounge and a very large rooftop solarium with sun beds. It also benefits from an air conditioning system that can cool, dehumidify or even heat in the winter months. Finally, there are communal swimming pools - two adult and two children’s. A welcome pack is included for all guests.

Recreational: : GOLF: The area boasts four challenging courses. The apartment is situated on the 'Marina de la Torre Golf Course, surrounded by Mediterranean seas, between Garrucha and Mojacar, with wonderful relaxing ocean views to colourful patches of laboured landscapes. With 18 holes, 72 Par (5464 metres), in the 'Marina de la Torre' zone. The golf course design includes three lakes strategically situated giving you a comfortable environment of peaceful and delightful surroundings having a different view from one hole to the other making the game more challenging in order for you to use your complete set of clubs. Other courses include Europe's only desert golf course the par 72 Desert Springs, within 20 minutes, Valle del Este, a par 71 and Cortijo Grande a nine hole course set below mountains.

Out and about.: There is an AQUA PARK at Vera easily accessed by local bus or car approx 15 minutes away. GO-KARTING in Garrucha approx. 5 mins away. GRANADA with it's impressive Alhambra Palace is approx 2 hours away by car. MINI HOLLYWOOD where ‘spaghetti westerns’ including Once Upon A Time In The West, several Clint Eastwood films and Lawrence of Arabia were filmed, is approx one hour by car. There are several Supermarkets available locally in Mojacar to satisfy all self catering needs. There are many quality restaurants including an Argentinian steak house, Agora (Italian), La Parata which serves modern 'international' food set in the Mojacar hills, San Felipe's an excellent Spanish eatery and numerous tapas bars. Indoor shopping in Mojacar, at The Commercial Centre, is 5 mins by car and includes a variety of high quality outlets featuring clothes, cafe's, bars, resturants, gift shops and an ice cream parlour ! Several children's playgrounds can be found on the beach.

Airports : Almeria Airport is approx 45 minutes away by car. Murcia (San-Javier) airport is approx two hours away by car and Alicante airport is 2 & half hours away by car. Car hire is relatively inexpensive and can easily be booked via the Internet prior to your departure, in readiness for collection immediately upon your arrival at your chosen airport.
