Going Out around Mojacar: The Mojacar area is blessed with a wide variety of restaurants and El Pinar has it's own bar and restaurant.
There are private beaches for your own picnics as well as those offering all the usual water sports. The local markets are a must for those who wish to sniff out a bargain. There's a great water park, fantastic golf courses and Mini Hollywood to visit to see where Clint filmed his Spaghetti Westerns.
Almeria: Almeria is described as the forgotten province of Spain. We have been visiting for over 20 years and we are still spellbound by the experience and now have a third generation hooked on the magic of the area and our home in El Pinar.
Transport: It is essential that you hire a car for the duration of your stay - rates for a basic car start at around £100 per week. Murcia airport is now easilly accessable via the new AP-7 Toll motorway which is a very quiet run.
Golf:
We have installed gas heating to make the house available for the winter golf market. There are 3 courses in the locality including the fantastic Desert Springs, Marina Del Torre and the new and highly acclaimed Valle Del Este.
