Golf: Valle del Este: an 18 hole golf course, 5,696 meters, par 71, located in Vera, about 15 minutes from Mojacar. The course utilises the desert landscape, making play challenging and scenic. Highly recommended by golfing visitors to the area. Desert Springs ‘indiana’: a new 18 hole golf course, 6,173 meters, par 72, located 15/20 minutes from Mojacar. Designed by Peter McEvoy, the successful Walker Cup captain, the course is the first desert course to be built in Europe, rivalling any of the famous desert courses in Arizona or California. This is a course destined to become one of the finest golf resorts in the world. Very highly recommended by golfing visitors to the area. Marina de la Torre: an 18 hole golf course, 5,464 meters, par 72, located opposite Mojacar Playa’s beach. The course combines flat fairways adjacent to the sea, 3 lakes and rugged mountainous terrain.
