An exceptional individual villa resting on the exclusive area of La Parata. Enjoy uninterrupted views of the sea in peace and tranquillity, and yet you are just 10 minutes from the beach, bars and restaurants of Mojacar Playa. This villa is furnished to a high standard and enjoys a new contemporary kitchen and en-suite slate shower room. All rooms are extremely spacious. The living room is approximately 30ft by 20ft. The crown of this villa is the Moorish covered terrace which runs the length of the villa and overlooks the swimming pool and coast beyond. If this view bores you, then walk round the villa through the garden to sit in the swinging chair or hammock of the outdoor morning room and take in the nearby mountain view. Don't be put off by the size of the villa if your party is less than 8, as this is a welcoming family house and can still be cosy for a couple wanting peace and seclusion. The pool is not overlooked from any angle which is rare.

The villa is located in the most exclusive part of Mojacar known as La Parata. It takes just 8 minutes to reach the beach front by car yet at the villa you will have peace, quiet and privacy. With one of the best climates in Europe it is suitable for holidays all year round. The Old Medieval village of Mojacar sits like sugar cubes on a hill and is full of tiny streets, restaurants and shops. Wonderful scenery, good walking, horse-riding, golf, diving and many miles of superb beaches are here for you to enjoy. Next to Mojacar is the old fishing village of Garrucha with its fresh fish restaurants. It has a go-cart track and water park nearby. Almeria Airport 45 minutes away, Alicante Airport 2 hours away, Murcia Airport 11/2 hours away.

Additional information about rental rates

  • The prices above are for renting 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. For the use of the full house with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, please add £200.
    The house is only ever rented to 1 party.i.e. if 2 people rent the main house, the downstairs studio room will NOT be rented out seperately.
    A security deposit of £200 is asked for. This will be reimbursed within 2 weeks of your return from the villa.
    Cots and high chairs can be rented.
  • A deposit of 20% is asked for on booking. The balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival date.
    The villa is available from 3pm on arrival day and needs to be vacated by 10am on departure day. These times are flexible if there are no crossover bookings on those days.
  • Linen and towels are changed during stays of 10 days or longer.

  • Bedroom 1 has a contemporary shower room, in slate with white furniture and lime accents. The room is large with patio doors onto terrace with swinging chair looking onto the pool and sea view. Sit in bed and watch the sunrise over the horizon. Plasma Sky TV on the wall and wardrobes. Bedroom 2 and 3 have 2 single beds and fitted wardrobes each. Bedroom 4 is below the main house and is very big with patio doors onto a terrace, wardrobe, 2 settees and en-suite bathroom. Entrance stairs from main lobby. The villa is fully air-conditioned throughout.

Notes: Please look at the terrace to see the ample outdoor living space. There are two tiled seating areas for 12 people, two comfy banana weave sofas and a chair. There are also 4 directors chairs to go with the outdoor glass dining table. By the pool are padded loungers. There is a swinging chair to the back morning terrace where there is also a settee and a hammock. The front door is accessed up some steps so may be unsuitable for the infirm. Children may be invited to stay but the settees are cream and we ask that they are not allowed into the house with wet swimming costumes. There is a very large utility room for drying towels etc where the washing machine and dryer are. Linen and towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.

Relaxation or action available: The villa is in the enviable position of being quiet and peaceful yet close to plenty of action. It takes 8 minutes to drive down the hill to the beach and lots of restaurants and beach bars. It has a great shopping area and Medieval Mojacar resting on the hill. La Parata rests within easy reach of all Mojacar has to offer. Mini Hollywood is an hour inland at Tabernas and is where the Spaghetti Westerns were filmed. There is a naturist beach at nearby Vera. The Sierra Nevada Mountains are a 2 hour drive away. The Ski season is October to March.

Horse riding: The stables is at the bottom of the road on the beach. Have private or group lessons or go on a country hack.

Walking: Mojacar is on the edge of the Gabo de Nata national park. Walks abound. The villa is on the same level as Mojacar Old village and there is a natural track to walk across the hills. Will take about 15 to 20 minutes. There are local walking groups aswell.

Golf: 4 golf courses close by. Val del Este. Par 71/5391m 18 holes designed by Jose Canales in 2002. One of the Prime Golf Courses in Southern Spain. Desert Springs. Par 72/6179m 18 holes designed by Peter McEvoy. Magnificent fairways surrounded by creeks, desert and water hazards. Marina Golf.Par 72/5464 18 holes designed by Ramon Espinosa in 2000. Split perfectly in two with far reaching views over the sea. Dramatic 4th hole, par 5, with an elevated tee is the signature hole. 3 lakes provide water hazards. Cortijo Grande. Par 72 9 holes.

We have just come back from our 2 weeks at this villa and felt the need to write a review to say how wonderful it was. The photos don't do it justice. We went just after the recent forest fires but everything had been kept clean and welcoming for us. The owners were very helpful and the management company were attentive.
We were a group of 4 adults and 4 children and we felt as though we had lots of room to do our own thing. The pool was great for everyone and the large veranda was perfect for keeping out of the midday sun but still enjoying the fresh air.
There was loads for both adults and children to enjoy near by too, from water sports to theme parks or just chilling out for lunch in a beach restaurant.

Very nice villa with fantastic view

We have just come back to Denmark after 12 days in this villa.
The villa itself, fully delivers what is promised in the description and everything is in order equipment-wise.
The pool area and the the terrasses are spectacular with exceptional view.
The owners aswell as the Real Estate company are extremely friendly and provided very good service.
The area is typical southern coastal Spain with fabulous beaches and an extensive bar-and restaurant life.
Defenitely a villa we would consider visiting again.

My family rented this villa for a week and were delighted with the house and the amazing surroundings. The accommodation was elegant yet homely with plenty of quiet corners and comfortable seating much appreciated by both grandparents and teenagers. We were there to attend a wedding and had wonderful family reunions at the nearby restaurants.We also enjoyed the hill top village Mojacar Pueblo with its wonderful views and the miles of safe and clean beaches. We did have to contact the agent once during our stay and our quiery was dealt with promptly. We were very sad to leave at the end of a perfect week and would love to return sometime soon.

Meridian is a lovely villa to stay in very spacious and decorated and furnished to a very high standard! The views are spectular and having a pool of it's own is fantastic. It is very spacious and no matter what time of day you can always catch the sun. The Facilities are fantastic and the local bars and restaurants are great but it's great to retreat back to Meridian in it's quiet location. The owners are very friendly and very happy to help. We found it very relaxing and will definately be coming back for yet another relaxing holiday. Highly recommended

Myself and 6 friends have recently returned from this villa. It was everthing we expected. Lovely, comfortable and spacious accommodation. The views are spectacular and everthing was perfect. The local restaurant meant that in our short stay we did not have to stray far. I would reccommend to any one this property for a relaxing pleasurable stay.
