Further details for the villa and surrounding area: Vera Playa is made for relaxation be it by the pool, on the beach or on your own terrace (PLEASE NOTE beach towels are not provided). Its very rare that all the villas are occupied at one given time therefore the communal areas are never crowded. Most days you will have the pristine pool to yourself while the children can play in the kiddies pool. If you prefer to be more active, the local area provides a water park (seasonal opening) numerous golf courses, go-karting, many water sports a leisure centre including tennis, driving range, padel tennis, gym and aerobics. All within ten minutes drive. A table tennis table is provided in the lower ground floor of the villa. Whilst there is no nude bathing around the pool area or on the beach in front of the villa there is a nudist beach some 400 meters away

Eating out: The area has abundant and varied restaurants, from beach Chiringuitos to well appointed restaurants serving fine foods and wines. Mojacar and Mojacar pueblo, Garrucha and Villericos all offer something for everyone. There are numerous supermarkets nearby all of which stock some U.K. products including fresh milk. Please note we can arrange for a welcome pack should you need it i.e milk, tea, coffee, bread etc a charge of 20 euro applies, also available to hire are high chairs and cots prices vary depending on length of visit. Please advice us when booking if you require any of these facilities. Should you require a mid week or mid stay clean please advise our agents on arrival and pay on the day of the clean

Further afield: Cabo de Gata national park is great for exploring and for the movie buff the wild west theme park at Tabernas is well worth a visit all within thirty minutes drive. During the winter months a two hour drive will take you to Granada and the ski resort of Sierra Nevada. Costa Almeria is one of the most rural areas of Spain, the coast line south of Mojacar is one of the least developed in Spain. There are no high rise buildings or sprawling developments

Ski: Skiing is available in Sierra Nevada near Granada during the winter months, two hours drive away.

Golf: Desert Springs golf and country club is frequented by well known sports stars and even if your not a golfer it well worth a visit to the club house and restaurants including the crocodile club, great for kids. Valle de Este is another golf course which will test your ability, it has restaurants, shops and bars. Both these courses hold major competitions. Other courses in the vicinity are Marina golf at Mojacar and Cortije Grande, all within ten minutes drive.
