We visited nearly every street in Mojacar Playa over three years to find this house! It ticks all the boxes for the ideal holiday home - close to the sea, but in a quiet location. The pool is a few steps from your door, set in mature tropical gardens. Secluded access to the sun is guaranteed by the roof terrace, which also provides stunning views of sea and mountains. Dine on the private terrace and enjoy the view. If you need shade the large umbrella will provide it. Inside is a large lounge diner with settees, satellite TV and Log-effect gas fire. The modernised kitchen has dishwasher, fridge-freezer with ice-maker, microwave, hob and oven. Close by is a utility room with washing machine and drying facilities and shower room/WC. Enjoy the sunrise from the 5' double bed in the front bedroom. The back bedroom has twin beds and dressing-room with mountain views. The luxury bathroom with bidet & shower separates the two bedrooms. Bedrooms have air-con.& space for airbed/cot (on request)

Mojacar is an ancient Moorish fortress town perched on a crag overlooking the Mediterranean. It's maze of narrow whitewashed streets are liberally populated with bars, restaurants and boutiques. 'Mojacar Playa’ is the name given to the narrow strip of villas, hotels and apartments, which line the seashore below the town of Mojacar. Our house is one of a small group of only twenty houses built around a pool, set in mature gardens. It is ideally located about midway along the coastal strip. It is less than 5 minutes walk to the seafront but you are just far enough back to avoid being disturbed by passing traffic (human or vehicular!). It’s within easy walking distance of all amenities. You don’t have to walk far to find supermarkets, the beach and a wide choice of bars and restaurants to suit every taste. To top it all the area has an average of 340 days of sunshine a year.

  • Bathroom 1 is upstairs. Bathroom 2 is downstairs. Both bathrooms have been renovated recently to a high standard. The upstairs bathroom is fully tiled, has a bath and shower. Sliding shower doors provide privacy. A bidet, extremely large washbasin with fabulous mirror and lighting over. Low level WC. Storage shelving and electric points for shaver. The downstairs bathroom is fitted with a shower cubicle, wash basin and low level WC.

  • We have a double inflatable mattress, available on request, which would fit in the front bedroom or rear dressing room and sleep 1 or 2 small children. Cot and highchair are also available on request. Both bedrooms have the latest air-conditioning and heater units installed. Duvets are provided for winter lets and we also have portable gas heating in the main bedroom. There is lots of storage space in both bedrooms and additional storage in the dressing room. The dressing room is a lovely place to sit in the afternoon if you want to either read, paint or just get away from the rest of your family! A really spacious main bedroom which is both light and airy and the sun will wake you up in the morning! Wonderful views from both rooms. We have blinds fitted to all windows giving you privacy at all times.

This area is also great for storage or a play area for young children whilst you are in the kitchen?! Our representative in Mojacar can arrange for shopping to be done on your behalf either before you arrive or whilst you are there. He will also arrange any hire of equipment.

We had a fantastic time in Mojacar, myself and my husband and our two friends rented the apartment for a week, which really wasn’t long enough! Whilst the beach is less than five minutes away and the sea is clear and refreshing and the sand clean and beach not over crowded, it was hard to actually leave the apartment complex. The neighbours were really friendly, the pool was amazing and all situated in very scenic landscaped gardens. The facilites were great, the apartment was equipped with everything we needed and there were even English chanels on the TV, so we didn’t miss Wimbledon! If you are a real sun worshiper you can get the late afternoon/evening sun on the roof, this apartment was one of the few with a roof area on which to sit. The front patio area was the perfect place to enjoy a home cooked meal at lunch time and in the evening, which saved us eating out all the time. We did discover an excellent Indian Restaurant just down the road from the apartment, serving what we all agreed to be the best Indian food we had ever tasted, it’s a shame they don’t deliver to the UK! Anyone visiting must take a visit to the Old Town especially in the evening for a meal as the views are amazing. All in all incredibly relaxing and very good value for money, we will certainly be back for another visit in the near future.

Fun in the Sun at Lomos Blancos

My partner and I rented the house for 1 week in August and had a fantastic time! The house is lovely and extremely comfortable and spacious. It was great to stay somewhere with a kingsize bed instead of the usual small double in the heat of the Spanish summer. The air conditioning was such a refreshment after walking down to the beach and back and it was a treat to be able to walk straight out to the pool in the beautiful gardens.

Most evenings were spent playing cards and enjoying a glass of sangria on the roof terrace before we headed out for dinner at 10pm when the playa really 'comes alive'! Our favourite places to eat were the Mexican by Titos on the beach front and the steak restaurant called La Cabana.

It is easy to get around Mojacar from the house, the bus leaves from just down the road and takes you up to the old town and along the playa. This is only 1 euro per person (the bus is even air conditioned making it a very comfortable way to travel around!).

We couldn't ask for a better location, the beach, bars and restaurants are all in walking distance. Thank you for a lovely stay and we hope to come back next year!
Owner's Response: So many restaurants so little time! Every year we try to sample somewhere new but have to admit Tito's on the beachfront is one of our favourites. Great hearing from our guests which ones they like best.

Fantastic Holiday!

We have stayed at this property a couple of times now. We stayed last year and had couldn't wait to come back again this year! The location is fantastic, just a few minutes walk to the beach and all the bars and restaurants. The property itself is spacious and very clean and has a fantastic roof terrace overlooking the beach and mountains.

The complex is small and very private and the pool is very nice. We don't have children but it would also be a great place for them if we did as it also has a small childrens pool and a grassy area.

I'd highly recommend staying here!!

Beautiful Mojacar

The villa is in a perfect location to walk to the beach and all the lovely bars and restaurants, if you like restaurants and bars that overlook the beach this is the place for you.. The gardens it stands in are again beautiful with 2 swimming pools 1 for the little ones which was knee deep, We thought the use of some sunbeds would have been nice by the pool.
The villa is clean and spacious, the kitchen is great, its nice to have a dishwasher, but we did find the beds very hard.
Owner's Response: Very happy for our customers to take chairs and sunbeds in our house to the pool, but all owners like them put away at the end of the day to keep the area looking tidy.

We had a nice holiday in the house at mojacar, It was very relaxed, with plenty of room for four people, nice clean house with lovely views from the bedroom over the gardens and pools, with the sea in the background, even better view of the sea from the roof terrace. Plenty of bars/restaurants within walking distance or short drive away.
