Costa de Almeria:
The Costa de Almeria has the warmest driest climate in Spain with more than 320 sunny days each year (more than 3000 hours). This is probably one of the last areas of unspoiled coastline along the Spanish Mediterranean, and is likely to remain so as parts of the area are designated as a National Park. Building development, although extensive is strictly controlled and confined to low-rise, low-density building within village boundaries.
