Villa 'La Cresta' is a newly built Spanish-style home, having 3 double bedrooms and private 8 metre swimming pool. Situated in the picturesque village of El Pinar this spacious villa has an open-plan lounge/dining room with direct access to the outside terrace and private pool via a full length glass patio door. From the villa and pool one has superb panoramic views towards the Mediterranean sea, valley and mountainside.

El Pinar is a small, quiet, village set into the hills of the Sierra los Filabres mountain range, close to numerous small inland villages such as Bedar and Alfaix and a short drive from the coastal resort and fishing port of Mojacar and Garrucha. There are no shops in El Pinar village but the local village bar & restaurant, open to adults and children, is only 3 minutes' walk and serves bar snacks and a varied a-la-carte menu. Main facilities such as supermarkets, chemists, doctors and numerous restaurants are available at many nearby villages, located 5-15 minutes drive away. El Pinar has recently benefited from a new road infrastructure, including a palm tree lined sweeping entrance road up to the village, mains water has also been installed. There is no major development currently underway in the village which would affect the tranquility.

La Cresta Facilities: Villa 'La Cresta' has bright and spacious open-plan accommodation with a fully equipped kitchen and feature archway leading through to the delightful lounge/dining room. An additional archway gives access to the hallway, with further access to the 3 double bedrooms (2 double, 1 twin-bedded) and 2 bathrooms (1 en-suite). The kitchen is full equipped and the lounge area has been furnished to a high standard.

Scenic Views: Panoramic scenery from the villa includes hills, mountains, valley and, of course, the Mediterranean sea! In the distance one can see the ancient Moorish village of Mojacar, perched on the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera mountains.

El Pinar: El Pinar is a quiet and serene village set in the Sierra Los Filabres, 1,200 feet above sea-level. The village was formerly a mining village and lay deserted until 1980. Today, the occasional car or van does disturb the peacefulness of the village - but this could be the local baker delivering your freshly baked bread! El Pinar comes under the province of Spain known as Almeria, located in the South East corner of Spain, bordering the provinces of Granada and Alicante. Unlike other popular regions its resorts are still relatively uncommercialised. The area offers many geographical variations for exploration, including coastal coves, inhabited cave villages and inland desert areas. Local English agent provides cleaning between lets, pool maintenance and assistance.

The Villa is perfect for families. Quiet location and lovely views. Car definitelty needed. Mojacar,Turre and Vera 15 min drive away for shops and activities. Loved Vera water Park for safe family fun. Lovely restuarants in all the mentioned towns.
Villa very comfortable. Villa provided exactly what we were expecting, if not even better. Only area for slight improvement would be new free standing fans for the two rooms without air conditioning as the ones there are a bit dirty, we couldn't find the pool light and the dish washer didn't clean brilliantly. Customer service excellent and would definitely recommend to friends. We would love to go back again very soon. Pool and outdoor area fab. Thanks for a brilliant relaxing holiday.

villa in the mountains of el pinar

whilst this villa position was excellent the services left a lot to be desired .the sheet /towels were changed once ,left by the agent whist we changed and he sat outside waiting for the dirtys.there were also not enough towels provided as no pool towels were supplied although all towels was stated od service list .also full equipped kitchen diappointing as there was no dish washer ( well one that worked ) or any facilities for washing clothes . (washing machine locked away in garage), all villas we have been in on previous holidays have had all these facilities. many of the utencils were old and were not clean to our standards ,in fact the agent did take some and clean when pointed out to him on our first day . the description of the villa services does leave question marks and we would not reccommend this villa in its present state as much needs to be done to make the facilities of a better standard

- " please bring your own swimming towels"
- " weekly linen change"

regarding the dishwasher and washing machine, we do not actually advertise these facilities as being available.

some teaspoons were replaced due to staining caused by high levels of calcium.
