This beautiful unique villa is found nestling in the foothills of the Sierra mountain range with its spectacular views across the mountains and valleys. In a select secluded area it is a short drive away from the lively beach resorts of Mojacar and Vera. Torre de Cascada is a recently built individually designed luxury villa in the Moorish style which is typical of this area. The villa is in its own large plot offering good seperation from adjacent properties. Although with all modern comforts and amenities its appearance is that of a grand medevial Moorish villa. Large intricately carved arched windows allow access to three seperate terraces that each have a magnificent uninterrupted view of the surroundings. In the secluded grounds it has its own pool and large whirlpool with many shady terraces to choose from. It is fully airconditioned and has has all modern facilities. It is an ideal summer holiday rental for a either a romantic break or a fun family holiday.

Nearest Airport: Almeria at 70 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: E15 jctn 520 at 10 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 15.0 Kilometres
Car: necessary
The Villa is on the edge of one of Spains renowned Natural Parks. The scenery is spectacular with much wildlife including goat herds, tortoises and numerous bird species including eagles. For the adventurous there is a new tarmac road that will take you high up into the mountain range with its isolated villages and cortijos. Many of the villas are permanent homes and there is a large UK community so English is widely spoken. Within walking distance there is a first class restaurant in the grounds of the old 13 century Moorish castle. A 2nd restaurant is opening 2007. A short drive from the villa there is a choice of lively beaches with watersports including numerous scuba diving schools or secluded quite coves with some that permit naturalist sun bathing. The quaint fishing port of Garrucha is nearby and is still very Spanish. Watch the boats coming back tp port at around 5pm each day with their catch of swordfish and giant prawns. Two hours drive and you can visit Granada

  • The master bedroom is on the top level with its own large terrace ideal for lying out at night counting shooting stars. Maximum so far 45 on one night. It has an en suite bathroom. Please note that it is only available for high season rentals. The double and twin rooms are adjacent on the mezzanine level next to the main lounge and terraces. There is a shared bathroom between them. The optional 4th bedroom is made from the sofa bed in the large room that leads to the whirlpool/pool. It has an en suite shower room. It is large enough to accommodate 1 double and 2 single beds.

Golf in area: There are a number of top ranking golf courses within 15-20 minutes drive including the unique Desert Springs, Marina del Torre on the seafront and Valle de Este. Within 5 minutes is a 9 hole course that is being refurbished back to its 18 hole status. New fairways are being added monthly.

Skiing: Skiing is available in the Sierra Nevadas in the Granada area.

We were really impressed with the villa and thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. It is clear that a lot of thought has been given to making it a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The views are breathtaking and the facilities were exactly what we needed. A beautiful, peaceful holiday where we were able to enjoy fantastic Spanish food (we used the recommendations of where to eat and they were spot on). We will definitely be back -but we would rather go for 2 weeks!

We had a very enjoyable weeks holiday in Torre de Cascada. The setting for
this lovely villa is incredible. The weather didn't play ball all week but
we still made good use of the pool etc.
In the summer months the site must
be quite idyllic.
