The detached private villa is in a small select Moorish styled development in the Cabrera Mountains, south -east Spain, with stunning uninterrupted views across a wide valley to distant mountains. There are tennis courts, bowling greens & various golf courses nearby. Excellent for walking & bird watching. The villa comprises main accommodation including living quarters and main ensuite bedroom with a separate guest block at a slightly higher level & containing the 2nd & 3rd bedrooms. There is a private swimming pool & 3 terraces giving sunshine and shade. A permanent barbecue is in the middle terrace for alfresco meals. Dining room, fully fitted kitchen & utility room with dishwasher, microwave, electric oven, gas hob, washing machine, fridge and large freezer. The large sitting room has Sat TV, DVD/Video player, CD/tape deck, gas fire & comfortable furniture. There is air-conditioning & ceiling fans in all bedrooms. All rooms have heating making it a year round holiday home.

Cortijo Cabrera is situated in the Sierra Cabrera Mountains on the tip of S.E.Spain. Los Arcos is a short walk from the village centre, which has 2 excellent restaurants (Los Pastores & Riad Cabrera), bar/cafe & tennis courts. The nearest town Turre is 15 mins drive which has ample restaurants/bars & large supermarket; market day Fridays. The coastal holiday resorts of Mojacar & Garrucha are only 30 mins drive supplying every need for visitors including Emergency Centre & long sandy beaches. Almeria (Provincial Capital) an hours drive whilst Granada/Alhambra Palace/Sierra Nevada ski slopes & Mini Hollywood are just over 2 hours. The immediate area is full of interesting unspoiled Spanish villages including Sorbas & the recently discovered caverns. It is a walkers/bird watchers paradise.

Notes: The villa is perfectly suitable for fit elderly persons but use of a wheel chair would not be advisable because of steps. Smoking is restricted to outside areas only. The patios have ample outside tables & chairs for alfresco dining. The centre patio (with BBQ) has a large extending sun blind for shade. The swimming pool is kidney shaped (dimensions approx. 7 x 4 mtrs, 1 mtr shallow end to 2 mtrs deep end - all approx.). Non swimmers will need to be supervised.
