The villa is located just a few minutes walk from the beach and has 2 bedrooms (1 double and 1 twin), 2 bathrooms, kitchen & large lounge/dining area. Lounge doors slide open onto a spacious veranda which overlooks the sea & mountains. There is access to the huge flat roof sun terrace from the double bedroom, ideal for discreet sunbathing! In the small garden you can enjoy the benefits of a purpose built chimney BBQ. This small complex has a community kidney-shaped swimming pool just 20 yards from the villa. The interior is comfortably furnished to a high standard with all necessary amenities, including fridge freezer, washing machine, modern hob and oven, microwave oven, plus an up-to-date satellite TV system for all your English stations. Also all linen and towels are provided (with the exception of beach towels).

Mojacar in the province of Almeria is a relatively unspoiled, up market & an up & coming family holiday resort with no high-rise buildings. It offers a wide range of activities including many golf courses catering for different abilities of golfers. There are many interesting places to visit in the surrounding areas, such as the large water dam in Cuevas de Almanzora , Parc Aquatic de Vera, fishing port of Garrucha & the 'National Park' of the Cabo de Gata. The picturesque & whitewashed Moorish village of Mojacar nestled in the mountains is only a short bus ride or drive away, offering a maze of narrow cobbled streets, bars restaurants, shops & fantastic views.

Notes: The couple who look after the property Stuart and Allison are English but speak Spanish quite well. They have a 12-year old son (Peter) who is bi-lingual and has grown up in the Mojacar area. They are very friendly family and are only too willing to answer any questions which you may have and whilst hopefully you will not meet with any problems during your stay, if they do occur, they are always available to help.

Mojacar Playa has over 10 kilometres of continuous clean, sandy beach, with a promenade supporting bars, restaurants and a variety of shops. Many of the bars and restaurants lie on the beach itself and offer sun-shades, loungers and waiter service.

A car will enable you to see the many local places of interest, but don’t despair if you don’t drive. A good local bus service is on hand to most destinations, including the beautiful pueblo (village). This is only 2 kilometres from the beach and nestles in the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera mountains. Visit the open market on a Wednesday and go and see the beautiful church. The view from the village square is absolutely stunning. Don’t miss the quaint fuente (fountain) where you can collect fresh spring water and still watch some locals use the facilities for their laundry.

To get to Mojacar Playa, flights are available to Almeria, Murcia and Alicante with airport pick up by arrangement if required. However, there are many car hire firms operating within these airports, albeit UK websites may give you cheaper options.

The Villa was in a perfect place, lovely views, fab pool, easy walking to beach, shops and some fantastic bars/ resturants.The villa has everything you need. well this villa is perfect for a summer break, loads of restaurants and beaches nearby. The view from the roof and front terrace is beautiful. neighbourhood is very friendly, people are always willing to help. The service was brilliant alison explained everything clearly, i am so attached to this place now that i would definitely go back there next time.

Booked at short notice for 'stress free break'. Have seen the recent modernisations to the bathrooms etc which all go to further enhance this lovely property. Will definitely be back for a third visit. As before it was blissfully relaxing and quiet - yet so near to everything. A true haven. Thanks.

June 2008, we visited over the half term holiday, and were lucky enough to experience peace and quite. The pool was lovely, although very cold, and rarely used, we often had it to ourselves. The property was clean and pretty. Very conveniently located near the beach and all night life. Very well priced.

We,family of three from Holland, had a good time in the villa.
Everything as promised was there.And well-maintained.
It was clean and everything was in good working order.We would recommend this house to friends .
Also the swimmingpool is great.
All in all we had a great house with a great pool.
