Laguna Sol is a brand new, privately owned, luxury 2 storey corner penthouse in beach-side complex with huge summer swimming/paddling pools, mini tennis and gardens. Sleeping 6-10, it is beautifully & stylishly furnished and equipped throughout to a luxurious quality standard, for the owners' and guests' use. Leather sofas and satellite TV/DVD/CD surround sound system are in the spacious living/dining room, which opens onto the huge lower terrace. The walls throughout the apartment are hung with stunningly colourful locally woven rugs. The individually designed kitchen is equipped to a very high standard with worktops made from locally quarried Almeria granite. Upstairs bedrooms have their own bathrooms and terrace. Full air conditioning/heating. Huge empty beach less than 1 min walk. Private parking in secure basement garage. 2 lifts. Local English couple provide meet/greet and helpful information. Laguna Sol is situated in the exclusive tranquil beach and lagoon side complex of Sol de Alboran, just outside the lively growing sports Marina of Almerimar which has wonderful restaurants, tapas bars, beach bars and 1000 sailings berths. LagunaSol's unique position provides views across the sea to the sophisticated Marina and overlooks a nature conservation lagoon to the snow-capped Sierra Nevada Mountains beyond. This year round destination has much to offer, the 25 year old Gary Player designed golf course is a must for golfers. It has numerous sporting activities and equally suits rest and relaxation sunbathers! The beautiful coastline is dotted with typical Spanish towns, the capital Almeria is chic and sophisticated and the hill top Mojacar is spectacular. Granada's Alhambra Palace and Sierra Nevada skiing are both only 1.5 h away. The famous majestic Alpujarras Mountains are directly behind.     For all bookings there will be a final cleaning/laundry/air con charge of £75 per week, pro-rota for longer stays

Laguna Sol is our own home, furnished and equipped with passion! All beds have high quality mattresses and can be configured as twin or double rooms. Bedroom 3 is a family room, which sleeps 4. There is a double sofa bed in the living room. We have quality white cotton bed linen, numerous fluffy towels and good beach towels. Each bedroom has a huge wardrobe with many hangers, bedside tables with lights and bathrooms are fitted with shaving points and lights above the mirrors. The living room is luxurious and comfortable with leather sofas, side tables/lights and CD/DVD library. Our kitchen is equipped with an extensive range of cooking utensils, white porcelain crockery, heavy glasses and cutlery. Both terraces have wooden garden furniture and 2 padded sun beds. The swimming pool is open between June and September with 3 lifeguards on duty at all opening times. The gardens run alongside the illuminated pedestrian promenade and the beach (with its numerous showers) is immediately beyon

Other Activities ski-ing 1.5 hours' drive in Sierra Nevada resort

Golf Information:

Almeria Province caters particularly well for golfers, dry mild winters and a yearly average of 3000 hours of sunshine make the area an excellent choice for year-round golf. Right in the centre of Almerimar is a 27 hole course, and there are eight other excellent 18 hole courses within an hour's drive. Green fees range between €45 and €70 per round; every course offers rental clubs, driving ranges and the services of a professional. Buggies may be preferable on the more hilly courses. Prices are around €25 per round, with electric and pull trolleys also available.

Ola Mandy!! Just wanted to let you know we had a FAB time at your lovely apartment, we were so impressed with Lagunasol – even given that it was out of season, the beds were wonderfully comfortable, the furnishings very tasteful and everything we needed was there.

LagunaSol is a beautifully appointed large apartment over two floors of a well maintained secure complex. It's corner situation means that both the lagoon and mountains to the rear, and beach and promenade all the way to Almerimar and it's Marina can be seen from the two sun terraces. The gardens are manicured to perfection and the pool is one of the largest I have seen. The sea, and mostly empty vast beach is just two minutes walk away. All six of us - age range from seven to fifty-eight - had a truly memorable holiday at LagunaSol and cannot wait to go back.

Just wanted to say what a lovely holiday we had at LagunaSol. The apartment was great,The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and loved the enormous pool.
