This spacious, air conditioned penthouse apartment with large terrace overlooks a nature reserve and lake towards the Sierra Nevada, and is just 75 metres from the blue flag beach of Almerimar. There are adult and children's swimming pools within the complex. Safe allocated basement parking with direct lift access to the apartment. Golf (27 hole Gary Player course), scuba diving, sailing, horse riding are all available in Almerimar. Excellent restaurants, cafes and shops around the harbour. Easy access to the Sierra Nevada and Cabo de Gata nature reserve.A visit to the spectacular' Alhambra ' in Granada 2hours away Excursions to the small mountain towns and villages of the Alpujarra make a good day out. 5km there is a large hospital opposite a shopping moll and tourist office (English speaking).

You can spend time playing golf at the local Gary Player designed 27 hole golf course, or try out the other three courses that are situated nearby. Other activities include scuba diving, boating and swimming or simply sunbathing on the beach. There are also many excellent restaurants and cafes around the harbour, plus a large supermarket with fantastic fish counter. Within a 10 minute drive you will find a shopping mall as well as a top quality hospital.

Just a short drive along the coast are the coastal towns of Roquetas de Mar and Aquaduce. Both of these towns retain a great deal of Spanish culture and tradition. They also provide additional opportunities for shopping and eating out. The provincial city of Almeria is the European city with the most hours of sunshine in the year (around 3000 hours) and the average annual temperature is 18-19 C.

Travelling from the UK: There are regular flights to local Almeria airport from both Gatwick and Birmingham. Tarleton Travel is helpful and offers good value (please ask us for web address). Car hire is available at the airport. Alternatively Malaga and Alicante airports are around 2-3 hours away and are serviced by many UK airlines.There are some fantastic bargains to be had on flights to Almeria from Birmingham with Monarch airlines
