Penthouse apartment with spacious sun terrace, within 5 minutes walk of the beach. Quiet location if you want lively nightlife it is within fifteen minutes walk. Nearest quality restaurants 2 minute walk, or you could make use of the fully equipped kitchen. Well furnished and equipped with satellite TV, DVD, CD player and Air Conditioning/ Heating. Adult swimming pool and infant pool available. Ample parking. Mountain and sea views from roof terrace. Bathroom equipped with shower and bidet. Port with fish restaurants 15 minutes stroll or town centre 15 minutes opposite direction. Superb supermarket 3 minutes away, major shopping centre 10 minutes drive. Playa Serena golf course only 1.8 miles away. Nearest Airport Almeria, 20 minutes drive, with flights from Easyjet, Ryanair, Jet2 Thompsonfly and Monarch. Car hire is available from the airport or locally. Private pick-up from the airport can be arranged for those who prefer not to drive.

Nearest Ferry: Almeria at 15 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Exit 429 on to the N 340 at 5 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 100.0 Metres

Roquetas de Mar is situated 25 km west of Almeria and 160 km East of Malaga. To the west are the Sierra Nevada Mountains, these protect the area from bad weather so the climate is pleasant all year round and great for snow skiing in the winter months. Rainfall in this area is scarce and so the sun shines for 320 days a year!Roquetas de Mar is also popular among golfers of all standards and has some great courses within a 15 minute drive time. The promenade in Roquetas is popular with walkers. For the more energetic there is a cycle path ideal for roller bladers and joggers. The local port offers trips including the glass bottom boat and has an early morning fish market for seafood fans. Excursions are popular including ancient Granada and the spectacular Alhambra palace. The Cabo de Gata area of natural beauty is only a short journey away. For the children and young at heart there is Mini Hollywood theme park, made famous by the Clint Eastwood westerns, which has an amazing zoo.

  • In addition to the rental fee 50 euros laundry and cleaning charges are payable locally in euros on collection of the apartment keys. Rental fees are inclusive of water. All bookings are held with a 50% deposit (non refundable). The remaining rental fee's are payable one month prior to arrival.
  • All bookings made 12 months in advance receive 10% discount. All repeat bookings receive a 10% discount.
  • All 2 week bookings get a 10% discount. All 3 week bookings get a 15% discount on the total rental cost. All 4 week bookings get 20% discount on total cost. Please note that no discount is applicable on winter rates except for return bookings. Last minute special rates available. Longer term lets availble during the winter months. Swimming pools are not used in the winter months.

We stayed here awhile ago, but I forgot we could leave a review. The location is fine and the views from the large balcony and rooftop sun terrace are good. The apartment was well equiped as described and very clean and presentable inside. (The uncleaned BBQ and extras outside not so! But I guess that's not the owners fault?).
Easy to find and well located and the owners were great to deal with. I hope we can get over there again soon.
