Donana National Park - walking, bird watching and jeep safari. Tarifa with its ferry to North Africa and dophin and whale watching. Baelo Claudio and its roman remains are a 20 minute drive away. There are several golf courses within easy reach of Zahara - Montenmedia (N340), Campo de Golf (San Andreas - N340) and Novo Sancti Petri (N340).

    Changeover days over the summer period i.e. mid 1 July - 1 September are either Saturday or Sunday. Outside of this time we try to be as flexible as possible. Rental period of less than 1 week are available outside the peak period 1 July - 1 September.
  • The apartment is cleaned for your arrival and towels and linen provided for the for the duration of your stay. A mid term clean can be arranged for two week breaks - there is an additional charge of 45 Euros for this service. Please contact us if you require this facility.
  • Airport Pick ups can be arranged for Gibraltar, Jerez, Seville and Malaga.

Notes:

The kitchen is well equipped with gas/electric hob, extractor w/machine, f/freezer and m/wave. Both bedrooms have large built in cupboards. Both bedrooms and lounge have a sliding doors which take you straight onto a large south/west facing terrace. Spacious lounge/dining area comfortably furnished with TV with satellite and VCR, Stereo radio/tape/CD player. Both bathroom and extra WC are modern and full tiled. Central heating is operated by thermostatically controlled switches which are in each room. The outside terrace is large (approx 36' long by 9' wide) - ideal for sunbathing - there are loungers and parasol with stand. Roofed tower room provides shade and is ideal for al fresco eating with table and chairs. Outside cupboard contains soft cushions, terrace/beach parasol, beach chairs etc. Bookings can be held for 48 hrs, during which time you can organise flights and car hire. Keys are collected from an English speaking contact based in Zahara. Airport pick ups can be arranged.

Travel

Easy access by flying into: Gibraltar, Jerez, Seville and Malaga. Convenient flights from the UK include: Ryanair (Stansted to Jerez daily ) BA and Monarch (Gatwick/Heathrow/Manchester/Luton) to Gibraltar. BA (Gatwick/Heathrow) to Seville and Malaga and frequent Easyjet flights and other airlines to Malaga. Also possible to fly into Faro in Portugal. Airport pick ups can be arranged for Gibraltar, Jerez, Seville and Malaga.

Another visit, another year and another very enjoyable stay. The apartment is always clean and well kept - we particulary enjoyed the large sunny terrace.

Visited in October - has all the comforts of home - even hot water bottles!! Rare to have an apartment which offes both air conditioning and central heating and so comfortable and quiet

Other Activities Nearby Tarifa is famous for its kite and wind surfing and you can also take a ferry from Tarifa to Tangiers. Bike hire available nearby.

Golf Information:

Very easy access to golf courses - a short drive to the course that Seve Ballesteros designed at Santi Petri - we cannot wait to see and use the new course being designed for Zahara itself.

What a lovely bright and spacious apartment, we really enjoyed our stay.
Our third stay in 3 years - apartment still wonderful - enjoyed every minute of our stay.
The villagers in Zahara are so welcoming, kind and the local fresh produce market helped us overdose when it came to buying fresh fish!
Enjoyed the whale and dolphin watching, such fun and got splashed so much by the dolphins we came back soaked to the skin.
Modern and comfortably furnished with all mod cons -we really enjoyed our stay.
Another visit another year and another very enjoyable stay - we particularly enjoyed the large sunny terrace.

So near golf courses, so managed to spend a lot of our time on the golf course!
