Your holiday accommodation is private and peaceful, surrounded by the unspoilt countryside of The Alcornocales Nature Reserve and are next to a small gorge with a winterbourne stream. Situated 2 km above the White Village of Jimena de la Frontera and 40 km from Gibraltar and the Costa del Sol on the Mediterranean. We offer: 2 private rental cottages with own pools set in their own grounds, 3 acres of sub-tropical gardens. Details for Old Stables Cottage 2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 4, 1 Bathroom

The thatched stables, entered via a covered porch way with fountain, have a high beamed ceiling for coolness in the Spanish summer. A log fire burns for wonderful Andalucian winter months. Inside there is an attractive living/dining area and a well equipped kitchen. There is a divan in the living area. Stairs lead to the double bedroom which has en suite shower facilities. There is a small single bedroom which has a stable door to the garden. Outside there are spacious terraces with a 6 x 3 metre private pool and BBQ. A fantastic location for walking and enjoying nature with some of the best bird watching anywhere in Europe
