Valgrande is situated opposite the championship golf course of Valderama. Set in its own grounds with security barrier entry. There is a community infinity swimming pool shared between approx 20 apartments, with a life guard on duty during the summer months. Valgrande has many local villages in the vicinity with numerous popular 'ventas' and restaurants. Sotogrande is situated an hour's drive south of Malaga, 20 minutes away from Gibraltar and about 90 mins from Jerez. It is a beautifully landscaped resort with wide tree lined avenues, set on the coast adjacent to a river estuary with a superb marina. It is totally unlike the rest of the 'costas' and is designed to be a tranquil yet provides everything for the perfect holiday from sailing, to golf. Easyjet flights from most airports to Malaga and BA and Monarch fly to Gibraltar.

  • We have a cleaner who comes once a week on a Tuesdays, if you require more cleaning or laundry services then you can arrange this with the lady at extra cost or with the administration office who have staff readily available at extra cost. Please liase with the administration at the entrance to Valgrande.
  • Refundable deposit of £300 required to secure the booking and held in addition to the rent against damage and any costs incurred. Bookings are secured when full payment has been received.

Notes:

Twice weekly maid service, weekly linen change. The new 'Wellness Centre' has just been opened and is included in the rental. This provide an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, Plunge pool, gym, Turkish bath, solarium, and indoor golf practice net. Outside there is a putting green and pitching bunker. We welcome children but do ask that our guests take care so as not to allow sun cream etc on sofas and outside cushions and drink spillages. We always either put a towel down or wear a T Shirt. This way we can keep the apartment looking nice. Whilst we are not smokers ourselves we do ask that smoking be kept to outside the apartment which is where we have the very occasional cigar with a nice whiskey (not provided).

We have stayed several times at this luxurious appartment where we feel really at home. All rooms are very well decorated, and the atmosphere is so pleasant. The spacious terrace is unique, and high quality furnished. The view from the terrace is overlooking the valley below. (morning sunrise is stunning) The kitchen is really big and very complete. The grounds around are one tropical, well maintained garden and just walking around is a real pleasure. The outdoor swimmingpool is excellent and very clean at any time. The new indoor swimming facilities we will get to know on 10-05-2008, our next stay.
Friendly security around, gives you a good feeling. A( rental) car is a must. Many special places around to visit. Gibraltar, Tarifa (tip of Europe) Ronda (a must!!) the port of Sotogrande (many special restaurants), the old city of Marbella (an oases of nice little boutiques and restaurants outdoor) Do not forget the small hill villages around. That is REAL Spain.(you need good physical condition) All in all,a excellent place to stay, far away from the crowded, noisy hotel boulevards. Highly recommended.and worth the prices.
