The villa has 3 bedrooms and one bathroom with bath and shower, a comfortable lounge/dining room with air-conditioning/heating and open fire and a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. Fans are provided in all bedrooms. Outside you will find a large garden with private swimming pool, a lawned area, flower beds and fruit trees. There are ample terraces for sunbathing. There is also an outside dining area with table and chairs for 8 people and a barbeque, perfect for enjoying lazy evenings with friends and family. The swimming pool (8mx4m) is perfect for cooling down during the hot summer months and has shallow steps at one end, ideal for small children. A sand pit is also provided.

Nearest Airport: Jerez International Airport at 60 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 15.0 Kilometres

The villa is only 15 mins from the local beach (La Barossa), which stretches for 6km and is hardly ever busy. It is ideal for families and sun worshippers alike - the area boasts approx 3000 hours of sunshine a year. The historical cities of Cadiz (30mins) and Seville (75 mins) are easily accessible, as is Gibralter (60 mins), all are worth a visit to explore the narrow streets and old ports. The famous 'Pueblo Blancos' of Vejer and Arcos de la Frontera are also within 30 minutes drive. Jerez is home to the Spanish Sherry and Brandy Bodegas and tasting visits are easy to arrange. Puerto de Santa Maria has a modern marina where you can watch the millionaires on their yachts whilst relaxing over a cool drink. This is where Christopher Columbus set sail for the New World on a ship named after this port. The nearest airport is Jerez (daily flights from the UK) and Malaga is only 2.5 hours drive along an easy coastal route.

Sporting Facilities: The area is becoming known for its high quality golf courses and 4 championship courses can be found within 40 mins drive of the property. The local course at Novo Sancti Petri was designed by Seve Ballesteros. A wide variety of water sports are available during the summer months at La Barossa(the local beach), these include surfing, wind surfing, paragliding, jet skis and pedalos. Horse riding is available locally, as is mountain biking. The area is ideal for walking and hiking.

Shopping: There are ample local shops selling everything you will need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. For the more demanding shopper there is a modern shopping mall in Novo Sancti Petri home to many designer labels. The new Bahia Sud mall is only 20 minutes away. Cadiz and Seville are a shoppers paradise, amble through the old towns where historic building house modern shops, or just watch others spend from a shady pavement cafe. Tax free shopping in Gibralter is easily accessible, only 90 minutes drive away.

Golf: The villa is located close to the renowned Novo Sancti Petri Golf centre, designed by Seve Balesteros. The facilities include a challenging 36 hole course, driving range and golf academy. The club offers crèche facilities. A current handicap certificate is required to play. A second course can be found at Club Campano, a 10 minute drive from the villa. Golf Montenmedio is a 40 minute drive away. This club is famous as a venue for the Volvo Masters tournament and can offer the discerning golfer an extra challenge during your stay.

We had a great time a villa Alicia. Pool was fab and it was like home from home. Very quiet area which was nice but not far to travel to local beaches/shopping centres. Definately would recommend this villa if you are looking for a relaxing holiday but if you have a car there are plenty of places to visit nearby.

The Villa is situated in a neighbourhood of empty poperties, guarded by dogs that bark through the night. The air conditioning was broken as were the shutters on the front of house, the house smelled badly of grease (kitchen) gas (kitchen) and musty (bedrooms) the house was dirty and full of clutter. The owner does not reply to e mails and phone calls, Avoid at all costs. The Neighbours were lovely and informative and agreed with us that the house was musty and pointed out that the pool lights did not work either.
