The large lounge and dining area open on to the small private garden with a small fountain and pond, which affords spectacular, uninterrupted views across to Gibraltar and North Africa. A small pathway close to the property leads to the beach and Alcaidesa Golf Club, and a small Lake can also be found near by.

Alcaidesa is situated at the end of the Costa del Sol and the start of the Costa de la Luz. It is a great place to explore from with road access to Marbella, Malaga, Jerez, Cadiz and Seville and all along the Costas being easy by the motorway or new Toll Road. Gibraltar is the nearest international airport at just 20 minutes away and Malaga is 60 minutes. A Car is recommended. The beach has water sports, restaurants and bars. The town square has a restaurant, bar, shop and pharmacy. Also near to the beach is a restaurant called the Hacienda. There is an 18 hole links golf course(the only links golf course in Spain) with a clubhouse that is well-equipped and comfortable with bar and restaurant together with a pleasant terrace area with views of the Mediterranean.
